of teams never having made it to the SuperBowl

    Browns
    Texans
    Jaguars

Oh well, Since the Browns (this version) have only been around for a bit over a decade, I don't feel too bad.

I think it's pretty much a given if your favorite franchise gets ripped up and stolen out of town by an inept, thieving owner, and you have to start completely over with an expansion team -- and that expansion team is forced by the league to spend most of its money on pathetically bad retreads from other teams -- you get a mulligan.

Forget that, include the Browns. They were gone a few years. They still count.

The Browns have still never played in a Super Bowl. Even before Modell moved them. Jaguars and Texans can have a pass for a little while longer.

Browns will be knocked off the list next year. Book it:D

If I'm not mistaken didn't Cleveland fight to keep the team name and the franchise history when Modell moved to Baltimore. A history that doesn't include any Super Bowl appearances. :D

My hope in the Lions getting there would be greatly helped by drafting Mr. Suh this year.

Yes, but only because we didn't want those records being infected by crack addled syphilis addicts in Baltimore.

My point remains the same: if you have to start completely over, and are saddled with how you can spend your money while starting over, it's going to take longer than if it were an established franchise.

That said, NFL championships didn't start with the Super Bowl. Cleveland has won titles before and has been to more title games than any other franchise in NFL history (unfortunately, losing too many).

With the moves made this off season, I believe this franchise is finally headed in the right direction since its return.

    I love Browns fans.

Nobody said they were never champions. We said Super Bowls. The Browns have never been. Probably will never be. Their fans have the most self inflated view of themselves. Look we all get in the Browns were great back when manufacturing was a booming business and there were 8 teams in the NFL.

The Browns were great pre SB. And it's all part of NFL history. You can't deny it. And had the team not been moved out of Cleveland by a punkass owner, who knows what would have happened by now.

And I like your little "Probably never will be."........ Mr expert.

So I guess royal_ K and WriterBuckeye believe Princeton, Army and Minnesota are equivalent to Ohio State, USC and Florida in College Footbal given their early success. Afterall, it's part of College Football History.

The list is the teams that have not played in a Super Bowl, plain and simple.

Regardless of the reasoning or excuses.
