  So what happened during the gap? How long was the gap? How do you know that the person who started the chorus of "he didn't do anything" (and it was one person's opinion piggybacked onto by the rest) didn't miss what he did?

  I don't know what happened anymore than any of the rest of you, but it could have been something like public intoxication. Maybe security came down and told him to quiet down and he was slurring and stumbling everywhere. What we do know is that when they tried to escort him out of the stadium, he was resisting, which contrary to what all the nearby San Diego fans were saying, is "doing something".

  There are tons of stories of people being tossed from stadiums for cheering too loud for the away team. Look it up.

  You can get booted from a Cowboys game for cheering for EITHER team too loudly.

  He obviously isn't the brightest guy in the world (or not the most sober, which could have been his problem) because he started resisting arrest for something that may have been BS but would have been very minor.

  and I'm a raider fan so the cops at the Raiders game arrested me for cheering for my team before the game even started.

  Happened to me back in 06 l, some fans complained that I was being drunk and disorderly because I was cheering my fucking team on. I had nothing to drink because I was on meds. They still were questioning me and I missed half of the 2nd quarter

  Give me a break. So you side with the NFL and their policy, that's great. The point is, if this is going to happen, you might as well not even go to NFL games if you are going to cheer loudly.

  Unfortunately, I do believe this policy will be enforced, at least in Indianapolis. I was ejected from a game for standing and cheering. I wasn't swearing or harassing anyone. Early in the game complaints were being logded when my guest and I stood during Colts defensive stands. Ultimately, I decided that I wasn't going to sit for the rest of the game. As I tried to explain to security, I wasn't sure when it is alright for me to sit and when to stand. I've always been of the mind at public events, like sporting events and concerts, that if the person in front of me was standing and I wanted to see, I would stand. If my desire to sit outweighed my desire to see, I would sit. Either way it's not my right to infringe upon another's right to enjoy an event for which they paid, by telling them when they can or cannot stand. It's an NFL game, not the theatre. So I get kicked out because someone sends a text to security. This is the same person/people who won't be showing up to games when the Colts go 5 and 11 because they're not even into the game enough to stand when the home team is on defense. I on the other hand would have supported the team regardless of its onfiled record; however, the Colt's public relations record will keep me away.

  Of course those people are going to say they were kicked out unfairly. haha. I don't think I've ever heard of somebody defending the police for kicking them out. Odds are certain aspects of those people's stories are embellished and other parts are left completely out. We all know that people on message boards and blogs are completely honest at all times :rolleyes:

  Yeah, because I said that people are never kicked out rightfully. I guess that people cannot be kicked out wrongly for cheering and having someone else complain about them through the fan hotline. That would be completely impossible.

  The most telling thing about the video... the Chargers fans around the guy. The very vocal guy constantly insisting that he didn't do anything. The fans BOOING the cops who are making the arrest (usually fans cheer when a fan of the other team is arrested), and the guy behind the JETS fan and GF at the very end who is asking to write something down for the girlfriend (I'm guessing his name/contact info) so he can help be a witness for the arrested guys case because he probably thinks it's bull shit.

  Bullshit, no one has ever been wrongly kicked out of a game for cheering too loudly.

  Whether he did anything or not, he shouldn't have acted like a jackass and resisted arrest. I would have liked to see the initial encounter with the police when they first approached him.

  I'd still like to know what happened when security approached the guy...I think there is a reason that it is cut out from the video. I'll bet someone got a little lippy with the security when they approached him.
