Ed Reed might retire
-
NonBecause of his neck injury. Seems young at 31 but he's had these problems for a few years.
-
bigdaddy2003^ Yeah, I read that last night. That really sucks but if he's in danger of getting severely hurt then I cant say I blame him.
-
MANAZEman that would suck. Im not a ravens fan but that dude is a freakin beast!
-
Al BundyThe guy is a great player. I wouldn't put too much stock into it until he has some time to think it over. Things that come out right after the end of season often change when reflected upon.
-
hasbeenFor his health, I'd understand.
But I hope to see him. He's a great player and fun to watch. -
gerb131I can understand his reasoning but he is fun to watch.
-
Hb31187If he does manage to be healthy and play a few more years. He may go down as the greatest safety to play the game(hes already in the discussion IMO)

ironman02This, along with the shot Kurt Warner took yesterday, inspired my "Is It Worth It" thread.
Would hate to see Reed retire this early, but I could definitely understand it. He's lucky enough to have made a huge amount of money off his talent, and should probably be set financially for the rest of his life.
