  The only way he doesn't side with the Colts is if he is the coach of the Saints or Eli is the QB of the Saints.

  I think people overestimate the regard players hold for the previous teams they played for.....likely the Saints have no front office staff, clearly no coaching staff, and no connection personally to Archie other than an old pair of fleur-de-lis boxers and a retirement watch he received from the owner in 1979.
  
  (Plus, IMO the Saints making the Super Bowl is less likely than Lane Kiffen holding onto a coaching job).
  
  I'm sure Archie will be in the Colts box at the big game, regardless of the opponent.

  UH.....the Saints are at home with one more win versus a team that doesn't play that great on the road (vikings) or a rematch with the COwboys (who will have Wade Phillips to hold them back)
  
  At worst the Saints have a 50% chance of going to the SB.

  Peyton already has one. archie plays favorites and actually likes Eli better as a son. He doesn't want Peyton to have more SB victories than Eli. Therefore he'll be rooting for the Aint's as they have been long suffering and he's not that fond of Peyton anyhow.

  Archie is probably the most loved player in Saints history. I think it's a win/win situation for him. But I agree with the majority. You have to pull for your own kid.
