If this is true then DAMN! It's been my experience that the baddest dudes aren't the ones always talking junk about how tough they are, it's the quiet ones. This could be true in this case.

it is quite shocking that Marvin Harrison could be this bad.

    Dbag thug.
  • Al Capone
There is a reason no team signed him.

Damn. That was just a crazy story. I definitely hadn't heard all those details.

Kinda depressing, since what I knew about Harrison was what was mentioned throughout the article about how he was low-profile and seemingly unaffected by fame. Really, the way he handled himself was the way I'd like to believe I'd handle myself if (by some miracle) I'd become rich and famous.

And then to read this article. Damn.

This was in ESPN Magazine last year. I didn't re-read the article just now but I think it is about the same incident and his businesses

He was my favorite receiver, by far, when I was growing up. Just caught the ball and tossed it to the ref. Every time. I still respect his records, but this shit is crazy.

This is why when I hear fans call the guys that draw attention to themselves bad people, I assume they have no clue what they're talking about.

    Chad Johnson isn't a "bad guy," T.O. isn't a "thug."

Anyone that has ever been around actual dangerous people knows that the baddest guys, generally draw the least attention to themselves. When you know you're the hardest guy in the room, you don't need to say it.

Next time you idiots(you know who you are) want to call someone a thug based on how they act playing a GAME, remember that you thought Marvin Harrisson was Mr. Rogers, all because he didn't dance after he scored a touchdown. Then remember that Mr. Rogers was doubling as Stringer Bell in his free time.

Im more interested in the shitty parents that left there 2 year old in the car while they jumped out. What pieces of trash they must be.

2kook4skool, excellent post! I feel the exact same way. People hate Ocho Cinco because he's in the media all the time, but everyone in that locker room says he's a great teammate. People judge people off of a personal foul or an endzone dance and it's not fair.

    Awesome read.

Harrison is a bad dude for sure.

Enough to keep Marvin from getting into the HOF?

People hate him because he's an annoying "look at me" clown who isn't anywhere near good enough to back up his antics.

Nobody thinks he's a thug, just a tool.

    I don't think he'll get blackballed unless he's convicted.

basically was an eye witness acct of a day when marvin got into an altercation with a man and was seen stomping his head and kicking his face. At the end of this Marvin pulls out 2 guns and unloads them into various cars driving away from the scene. What this story doesnt tell you was...................this same man involved with Marvin was months later found shot to death!! They have not charged anyone with his murder yet!!
