    From your article.
"Medical Examiners has taken immediate action and launched its own investigation. If the board determines the doctors are prescribing anabolic steroids illegally,"

Your previous posts were acting like doctors on the up and up are giving steroids to perfectly healthy people. From your own article it states they are prescribing the anabolic steroids illegally. Sure the crooks are going to subscribe to perfectly healthy people but the point is it is illegal then and now.

You proved what we were saying. What exactly is your point? That crooked doctors prescribe drugs to people who shouldn't get them? You proved your point.
no i proved what i was saying , that doctors will and do prescibe steroids to perfectly healthy people. and that isnt hard to get a doctor to prescribe them. you guys come on here and act like a dr wont such a thing. i never said it was on the up and up. i just said they do it

Nobody claimed doctors don't prescribe steroids fraudulently. We all know it happens. "Easy" I would contend is a gross exaggeration when it comes to a reputable doctor. If your doctor goes to jail for a fraudulent script, then I fail to see how that gets an athlete off the hook. These guys get 2nd and 3rd opinions on injuries and training advice. It's pretty obvious that there is no reason for a healthy athlete to be taking steroids, and there is only one reason going to a non-approved/non-sanctioned/non-recommended doctor for an otherwise fraudulent script.

The bottom line is if a doctor committed fraud in giving you a script, then you never had a legal prescription. The feds could go after the user, but they are more concerned in shutting down the pipelines. And I guarantee, even today, if there were a valid and necessary reason for an athlete to temporarily be prescribed steroids, the league is not going to penalize that player in any way. But you'll never see that because any injury or disease requiring prolonged steroid treatment is most likely career ending.

McGwire and Barry Bonds never claimed to have had a prescription for steroids or a medical condition requiring that treatment. In fact, the only athletes I've ever heard make such an admission are Terry Bradshaw and maybe Rodney Harrison, but I'm sure there are some others. So the original point, before you began backpedaling and misdirecting refusing to admit you were wrong, is that steroids WERE illegal in baseball and most (if not nearly all) of these guys BROKE the rules.

Yea what gut said and also nobody was arguing that Dr.'s didn't prescribe steroids illegally. So I still fail to see your point other then Dr's can be crooked which hell we all knew that.
