Top 100 for April.

DaBrowns41Some changes have been made. Removed Locker, Heyward, and Mallett. Despite Snead declaring, he still didn't make my top 100, as I don't think very highly of him.

ZombieKillerdid you make that list yourself?
-
wes_mantoothI just don't like any of the QBs in this draft. Clausen is decent, but I would be pissed if my team took him early in the 1st round.

No he doesn't even know who half the people on the list areZombieKiller wrote: did you make that list yourself? -
killer_ewokDez Bryant's school is Oklahoma State, not Georgia Tech.

DaBrowns41
Yes. I expanded it from my Top 60 I did early in December.ZombieKiller wrote: did you make that list yourself? -

Ugh. I always confuse him with Calvin Johnson. My bad.killer_ewok wrote: Dez Bryant's school is Oklahoma State, not Georgia Tech. -

Clausen is the most talented, followed by Bradford, closely.wes_mantooth wrote: I just don't like any of the QBs in this draft. Clausen is decent, but I would be pissed if my team took him early in the 1st round.
I think Mallett would have helped out because he's got some of the best physical tools for a QB, but he's going back to Arkansas. Locker is also very talented, but very raw, although playing in an offense with no play makers doesn't help.
But I agree. -
DaBrowns41
Right... Not sure what I did to you to deserve that cheap shot, but ok.2quik4u wrote:

NonGood work.
I'll throw out a few other names .
Not necessarily top 100 but could be decent in the middle rounds.
Dekoda Watson, LB, Florida State
...I think he looks small, even smaller than his listed 6'2 226 but I love his speed and closing ability. Will he get pushed around too much? That's the question.
Alterraun Verner, CB, UCLA
...Plays the ball well, good at breaking up passes. Probably one of the best in the draft at that particular skill but might be questionable physically in run support.
Mick Williams, DT, Pitt
...Not real big for a tackle at 6'1 280 but he makes a lot of plays. I think he'll be a productive player maybe as a rotating lineman. -
DaBrowns41
Big fan of Watson. There are a lot more smaller LB's in this draft, Sturdivant, Carter, Sharpton, Angerer, Lee, etc. Watson's problem is being physical. He struggles to get off of blocks, but he's a very good tackler. Excellent technique. He's a guy that could slip into the top 100 when it's all said and done.Non wrote: Good work.

Verner is one the fringe for top 100, IMO. He's a very solid cover corner. Like you said, his weakness is with his tackling, especially in the open field.
I'll be doing a top 150-200 shortly after the 15th. -
Nonseems like a pretty good pass-catching tight end draft
Gresham, Hernandez, McCoy, Pitta, Dickson, Dickerson
Garrett Graham and Nate Byham are solid
Colin Peek, Tony Moeaki, maybe Jimmy Graham because he's 6'8 -
DaBrowns41Despite the emergence of Evan Moore, I'd like the Browns to pick up a TE in this class. One of these guys is going to get to the 4th-5th round, and with 11 picks, we can afford to spend one on a TE, considering that position is very weak for us with the departure of Winslow.
Graham will most likely see my top 100 as well. I think he's very good.
Pretty solid TE class, IMO. However, if you're looking for blocking TE's, not so much. -
NonI think Byham is a good overall tight end and wouldn't be surprised if the Steelers took him in like the 6th or 7th round

hoops23Seeing as how Colt is now being listed as a 3rd-4th rounder, I could definitely see him as the 61st rated prospect..
SQ loves Colt though, so there is a little bias in his thinking.. I still LOL at the fact that he thinks Colt will be better than Locker. -
pkebkerI would like to see the top 10 at every position with the expected round they are predicted to be drafted in...

Azubuike24Micah Johnson from Kentucky. Curious to where you have him listed? IMO, he played out of position his whole career at UK. He didn't have the speed or lateral ability to play OLB.
-
DaBrowns41
He reminds me a lot of Beau Bell who came out of UNLV a couple years ago. He'll be a 4th round kind of guy, IMO, but could slip into the third if he has a good combine (cone drills will have more emphasis, not necessarily 40 time).Azubuike24 wrote: Micah Johnson from Kentucky. I'm just not a big Colt fan, when it comes to his potential as an NFL QB. He could jump into the 2nd round, but in no way do I see him as a first rounder unless he just blows teams away.LTrain23 wrote: Seeing as how Colt is now being listed as a 3rd-4th rounder, I could definitely see him as the 61st rated prospect..

Just like Tebow. I don't think Tebow is a first rounder, or even 2nd round talent. He's just got all the intangibles that teams love, and could be taken a bit earlier than he should be. -
ohiotiger33Jenkins from Clemson is staying.

DaBrowns41
That's unfortunate, I think he's a big time sleeper.ohiotiger33 wrote: Jenkins from Clemson is staying.
