Chicago white Sox vs Cleveland Indians series thread

Nothing worse than Yankee fans (besides maybe Red Sox fans). I'm pretty nervous as well, did not want to face the Yankees. Great bullpen and hitters. Our starting pitching has to be on

Id have Otero. His sinker in late innings can get Tribe out of a jam with a GIDP if someone else exits with runners on.

Bring em on. Yankees clearly superior to the Twins. Would have preferred Minnesota but nothing sweeter than knocking the Yankees out.

    LET'S GO!!

Our Tribe has to be "on" no matter who we play.

Just bring it and do it.

    Go Tribe.

The worst is my soon to be brother in law is from nyc and a huge yankees fan. We are going to NJ/NYC this weekend and he is going to be around Friday. It’s going to be miserable.

We are wondering when the crash occurs.

    So just bring it on.

    Go Tribe.
..and this is why we're all nervous...history.

...but I say to hell with history--let's win this goddamn thing!!!

Bauer has been amazing since Mickey mad the change with him (what else is knew...we should pay Mickey Mike Trout money lol). What makes people think he is going to implode anymore than Kluber would?
Bauer is 10x better at home which is probably part of why he is game 1, and Kluber is games 2 and 5. If 1 pitcher is going to go twice, you want it to be Kluber. Games 2 to 5 are exactly his normal 4 days off between starts.

I bet Tito just didn't want his routine changed and give him 5 days off if he went games 1 and 5.

Yeah, huge baseball fan (played in college) but hardly ever post about sports on here (not sure why).

Gotcha. Good Tribe talk on here. Whoever starts a series thread doesn't stop until the Tribe lose a series. Crimson Streak has been going strong for a couple months. The Indians have been playing great baseball but the yeoman work of Crimson Streak cannot be understated. I emailed a contact I have at the Associated Press but they have yet to jump on the story, which is disappointing.

I was a superstitious player myself, don't want to mess with the mojo, glad I didn't accidentally start the thread :)

We have been known to not post in an old thread until the new one is created by three correct person lol. It's probably unhealthy...

^^^^ and make sure it's a live chicken too....not KFC.

I hate the Yankees....since 1959, which is the earliest I can recall being a Tribe fan. I get way too intense watching a regular season game. This series has me fried and it hasn't even started....so much for an 'easy' first round.

Mostly scared about Yanks bullpen being able to shorten the game. They have 4 guys who can go 2 innings and strike out 5...

I think we can hit their starters and keep their lineup in check (Tomlin game 4 in NY is not ideal, though).

    PTL!

After my last post, I could have seen some a-hole troll try to start one.
