New York Yankees at Cleveland Indians series thread

BR1986FBI don't know that this is accurate (didn't look it up) but heard on the radio this morning that since June 1st, Kluber has a 1.77 ERA with 132 K's in 86 innings? Wow !
-
BRFI think it's great that Kluber did that last night to overshadow the media slobbering over Sonny Gray's Yankee debut.
Kluber now joins Randy Johnson, Pedro Martinez and Nolan Ryan for striking out at least 8 batters in 12 straight games. (Johnson leads with 17 straight) -
iclfan2No comments yet geez. 4-1 Tribe in the 5th. Urshela had a great play in the field.

Party at Judge's
Go Tribe -
BR1986FBRoyals trail the Mariners 5-2 in the bottom of the 8th.
-
cat_loverSeattle wins 5-2.
Party at Pinella's -
Laley23Those 2 Urshela plays, particularly the throw home, were incredible. He may be the best defensive 3B in the AL. Beltre losing a step. Machado still great.
-
Laley23Tribe playing well, lineup seems to be clicking with the current order, but damn why can't Zimmer get in versus lefties? 2 games off in a row?
-
Ironman92
Went back and checked them out. The first play to home was special and full extension dive and throw to first was wow.Laley23;1865519 wrote:Those 2 Urshela plays, particularly the throw home, were incredible. He may be the best defensive 3B in the AL. Beltre losing a step. Machado still great.
The play to home made me think of Rey Ordonez. -
cat_loverSalazar with a very good outing.
We trail 2-1 going to the ninth to face Chapman. -
cat_loverBrantley with a lead off single.
Go Tribe. -
Laley23Another great outing by Salazar. Too bad we couldn't score, but his outing is encouraging enough to make tonight a positive.
-
cat_loverYankees with some serious leather in the 9th to preserve the win.
-
vball10setMiller being out hurting already--ZMac just couldn't get it done...let's hope Cookie's last start was a fluke and he can give us a strong 7+ innings
-
Con_AlmaBrantley looks like he's back to his old self.
-
Laley23Almonte is so bad in the field. So bad.
-
iclfan2Yea wtf was he doing out there. Carrasco kind of implodes in the 6th but still should have gotten out of the inning with only 1 run. Offense didn't show up for the 2nd day in a row

Severino is real tough. Yesterday was frustrating as hell though.iclfan2;1865586 wrote:Yea wtf was he doing out there. Carrasco kind of implodes in the 6th but still should have gotten out of the inning with only 1 run. Offense didn't show up for the 2nd day in a row

Like...holy shit. LolLaley23;1865585 wrote:Almonte is so bad in the field. So bad.
The hit probability on the Ellsbury triple was 11%, per @statcast. Catch Prob was 76%, though that doesn't factor in the wall. -
vball10setunbelievable...
-
BRFCue Gardens.
Damn. -
vball10setExtremely disappointing end to a series that started out so promising...our offense is just so maddeningly inconsistent.
