Carrasco, Shaw, Miller and Allen. How can all 3 suck in 1 game?

Technically that's 4 lol. But yea, brutal loss. Hopefully that doesn't linger. Royals lost as well

    Sale and Kimbrel as well

lol, meant how can all 4 blow 3 leads in 1 game. Too angry to type my thoughts coherently, apparently.

Yeah, but I'm never nervous facing Sale or Verlander. Tribe hitters typically own those guys (and Sale about to knock us out of playoffs).

Hell, we even got to Kimbrel last year in 1 of 2 games we faced him. I think Lindor had a 3B.

EDIT: Lindor had a 2B, but didn't score. Lost 3-2 that game. Frankie is 2/2 off Kimbrel now, 2B and Hr though.

Excellent game to watch if you are a casual baseball fan. Not so much if you're a Tribe fan. This game had just about everything.

I woke up this morning seeing a notification that the Tribe won 10-9. Now that I am reading this thread, I realize ESPN was wrong and they actually lost. WHAT THE FUCK!?

Can I sue ESPN for this?

I saw the same thing. I was pissed. I went to bed around the 7th inning (heard the rest of the highlights/lowlights on the radio this morning) and woke up at about 3am. Refreshed my computer and it said 10-9 Final. Then I scroll down and see Allen with the loss and I was like WTF? I refreshed it again and the correct score came up.

Still have Bauer vs the most disappointing pitcher in baseball tonight to avoid the sweep.

Allen struck out Moreland to end the game, but Gomes couldn't handle the pitch in dirt and he reached base. Espn algorithm recognized the strike out as out #27 and pushed final.

Makes sense. I heard about the wild pitch strikeout so what you're saying completely explains it.

Geezus that's a shitty way to lose.

That only prolonged the agony. Allen gave up the 3 run walkoff HR after that. So many missed opportunities. Very frustrating.

It didn't help that the first hit of the inning was a Baltimore chop.

Miller to 10-day DL. I knew something hasn't been right with him recently.

If they can maintain their division lead, this may not be a bad thing.

Right knee tendinitis. Weird. I don't know whether to believe it or not.

Not going to be starting for quite a while in Boston.

Yeah radar is bad. Might be a late night, cause I'm sure they don't want to postpone a game this late in season, since we are done with (at) Boston after this game...would probably play a double header at Cleveland in 2 weeks time.

Unless we both have same off day, but that's not ideal either.
  • iclfan2
Dang. My reign has come to an end. Had 2 decent runs this year though. Hopefully this isn't a preview or things to come

Hope they get restarted in Baltimore too. Orioles are already up on the Royals 3-0 in the 3rd in a delay.
