So, is Houston going on a 20-game losing streak soon? Because without a LOT of help from them, HFA won't be happening regardless of how well Cleveland does the rest of the way, with the current 12-game difference and all. And while a .679 winning percentage and 30-9 on the road probably isn't sustainable over 162 games, I've seen no indications they're anywhere close to going into any sort of legit swoon. Hell, they've been a month without Keuchel and haven't skipped a beat.

    Francona is out again tonight.

Lets see what Bauer has tonight. His last 4 starts have been outstanding.

No Kipnis and no Santana tonight either.

    Santana is on paternity leave.

Yep. Kipnis has a "sore neck".

    Indians already 0-2 with RISP.

Lindor breaks the streak and gets the INdians on the board.

I don't like it...and Ramirez is garbage? and even though 9 runs is a pipe dream, we'll need at least that many with Bauer on the mound at home (he's a beast on the road)

I think that Rick Manning is at his absolute very best when he's giving the Happy Birthday announcements.

First time since 1949 that a team's had 14 hits and only scored 2 runs. Tribe has a knack for playing down to the level of their competition. A good 5 or 6 guys on the Padres roster should probably be in AAA.

especially at home--not a good sign moving forward

It's fucking baseball guys, relax. This shit happens all the time. Not every team is going to win 100+ games and bury the division by 10+ games. Even then it doesn't always translate to post-season success. It's all about winning the division and hoping everyone is hot at the right time.

Bauer pitched good enough to win. The offense is pathetic right now. Tribe needs Tito back in the dugout....all the wrong buttons being pushed.

I think I remember the announcers saying something along the lines of how they have 4-5 Rule 5 players on their roster. That is just mind-boggling, since usually it's a hassle for a team to hide one of those guys for a full year.

And Royals are at about a .700 winning percentage since their shitty start. That ain't gonna keep up.

    With a negative run differential.

What's Ramirez hitting over the last month??? .500??? He can't be too awful far from it.
