BRFGame one done and lost 6-4.
Salazar today at 4:10.
Tomlin goes tomorrow at 1:10.
Go Tribe. -
Gardens35First!
-
GOONx19Go Tribe.
-
BRFSalazar makes 33 pitches in the first, and with bases loaded and no outs, he escapes with only giving up one run.
Lindor slams a homer to tie it. -
iclfan2I saw no thread last night but didn't know the protocol of thread starting. They looked like crap. 2-1 Tribe end of 3rd

BRFI just took it upon myself to start a thread.
Hammy had a nice interview with Frank Robinson. He is now 81 years old.
BRF was a witness in 1975 when he lined a homer to left in his first at bat as the first black manager in MLB history.
Five innings done and still 2-1. -

BRFAnd now we are losing 4-2 going into the 9th.
Oh wait, 5-2 on a homer in the t9.
Bad 6th inning with Logan and Goody. -
iclfan2Blah. 1 game above 500. This team is just struggling

BRFRight, iclfan2, right.
I think if we can get through the old "June Swoon", we will be ok. -
iclfan2Interesting, just saw Salazar may be the guy headed to the pen

vball10setI remember a time when the saying "our pitching sucks and our bats have gone silent" was funny...not so much anymore

who the hell knows--two weeks ago it was Bauer, then Tomlin, now Salazar...hopefully these guys will get it together and complement Cookie and Klubot (when he returns) and form that formidable staff we allegedly haveiclfan2;1855394 wrote:Interesting, just saw Salazar may be the guy headed to the pen

Benny The JetI can't find the stats to back it up...but it seems like the biggest difference between last year and this year....where's the hits with RISP? They were amazing last year with RISP and even better with 2-outs and RISP....Jose lived off of that. He looks pretty bad right now too.
-
cat_loverJust not clicking right now.
They will get it figured out.
IN TITO WE TRUST
GO TRIBE -

the only team that's worse than the Tribe are the Royals...and yes, JRam sucks right nowBenny The Jet;1855416 wrote:I can't find the stats to back it up...but it seems like the biggest difference between last year and this year....where's the hits with RISP? Benny The JetAlso was thinking stolen bases this year is way down...and they are. Last year they averaged .80 SB/game. They're at .36 this year...23/30 in that ranking. OBP has to do with it, but still not pushing the envelope either.
-
Laley23So, this "throw away" lineup did pretty well, huh?
-
Benny The JetDoing both things they've been really struggling to do today...they hit with RISP and stole bases.
-
BRFTomlin with a complete game! He's the Royal killer with a 10-4 career record against them.
Big win today to avoid dropping to .500. -
cat_loverTribe wins!!
