What do you want your team to do with their first pick in the draft?
-
justincredibleLots of Browns fans on here so I'm guessing there will be a lot of "draft Garrett" responses.
Ideally I'd like the Jets to trade down and pick up a few more picks. If they are taking a guy at #6 that will realistically be there I'd probably be happiest with OJ Howard, though trading back with the Browns and getting Howard at #12 would be awesome. -
BR1986FBI'm not completely sold on Garrett but he is the consensus safest choice so he'd be the pick. I'm just concerned they will do something stupid like draft Trubisky or Watson at #1. If they are truly "all in" on analytics, Trubisky will likely not be that pick because of a small sample size.

AutomatikPittsburgh - secondary, secondary, LB, WR
-
IliketurtlesDallas Cowboys - Secondary or DE/OLB. Don't know which one I want more will just all depend on who is there in the first. I want these positions for the first 3 picks though so they just need to make it happen! Only way I'd be upset is if they took a QB, RB, TE, or OL with one of the first 3 picks.

Ironman92Pittsburgh.....best DB available, then a top receiver (preferably one with size 6'2+)----inside LB, safety or DT----Rb/athlete

ernest_t_bassDolphins - Dan Marino

cat_loverBrowns- So many area's of need, they just need to draft people who can contribute. No more Manziel or Gilbert who turned out to be wasted picks.

Commander of AwesomeIDGAF which of the bunch (well I prefer Jimmy G and Mahomes)
but I want the browns to leave the draft day 1 with a combo of Garrett &:
Jimmy G
Mahomes
Turbisky -
HereticSteelers - best defensive player available.
-
Terry_TateBengals - Somebody on defense. Preferably Johnathan Allen, Solomon Thomas, Derek Barnett, or Haason Reddick.

friendfromlowryHope the Bengals go offense. Someone to take the pressure of AJ Green when Eifert inevitably gets hurt and Jeremy Hill is rushing into the back of the offensive line for one yard gains. That actually might be optimistic for Hill since the offensive line fell apart this offseason.

Wouldn't shock me if they used their late 1st rounder on Kizer.Automatik;1849627 wrote:Pittsburgh - secondary, secondary, LB, WR -

He fits their mold (big, strong armed QB) and he'd probably have more success in Pittsburgh, sitting & learning, than he would with a team that would throw him into the fire. Have heard a few QB's (also Webb) as potential targets for Pittsburgh there.Ironman92;1850082 wrote:Yuck
I wish a pox on the Steeler franchise but it would be the smart move to get their QB to groom. Putting all of their eggs in the Landry Jones basket is just asking for a return to the Mark Malone/Bubby Brister days. -
SnotBubblesI'd like to see the Bears draft Allen or Adams at #3. Or trade down. Round 2, get a QB.

Which QBs would you be happy with in Round 2?SnotBubbles;1850088 wrote:I'd like to see the Bears draft Allen or Adams at #3. Or trade down. Round 2, get a QB.
What are your thoughts on Glennon? There was a large group of Jets fans that wanted to get him, I was indifferent. -

Well, I think it's safe to say Trubisky won't fall to round 2 (he'd be my ideal QB). Watson or Kizer would be good in round 2, I think one of them should be there at 36. Mahomes, meh. Webb is probably a reach that early. I hope if Trubisky, Watson or Kizer are off the board, they just wait until round 3 or 4.justincredible;1850096 wrote:Which QBs would you be happy with in Round 2?

I'm indifferent on Glennon too. His resume is so limited it's tough to say how he'll fair. It doesn't help that he has very little talent to throw to. I honestly thought if they were going to spend $10mil+ for a QB they may as well have kept Cutler. I hope he does well, at least for 2-3 years until they can get a young QB ready. -

Well, Malone did look like Tom Selleck and I think took them to an AFC Championship game (maybe not)....Jones is no Bubby.BR1986FB;1850087 wrote:He fits their mold (big, strong armed QB) and he'd probably have more success in Pittsburgh, sitting & learning, than he would with a team that would throw him into the fire. I don't disagree with you just not wanting them to. -

I think Jones is a few steps back from even those days. That'd be more like what giving the keys to the car to Brian St. Pierre a few years ago would have been like.BR1986FB;1850087 wrote:He fits their mold (big, strong armed QB) and he'd probably have more success in Pittsburgh, sitting & learning, than he would with a team that would throw him into the fire.
