    Not sure how to measure it, but there are any number of examples of teams that sell out and nearly never win. Does the former influence the latter? IMO, yes. If the bottom line is secure, there's less reason to make needed changes to the organization. In those instances, are the fans showing up helping the team or actually helping to perpetuate mediocrity?

    Wouldn't have minded the loss nearly as much if they could have held off until overtime or shootout. Three points on a back to back against division rivals is a winning performance. Two (at most) is not.

    Bad loss to a pretty shitty Carolina team. Forsberg was awful.
