Ever since TBS got playoff coverage (2007 was the first year I believe) they have been god awful, and they haven't improved at all.
+1 ...the coverage is awful, not to mention they are in the tank for the Red Sox and big Papi.... Pedro Martinez interviewing Ortiz in a mutual admiration love fest was their entire lead in to yesterday's game.
.... and yeah, and WTF with no pitch count?

I was at the game tonite , so I didn't have to watch that clusterf*** again.....probably wasn't much better, amIrite?

Reading some national media this AM, and they are moaning about the possible quick exit of Big Papi from the postseason. That said, this series isn't over.

Nope, Boston has a history of coming back to take out the tribe.

Plus, Fenway is a different animal. Could easily be 2-2 in a few days with momentum completely shifted and Bostons offense hot.

Exactly. That's why I feel game 3 is so important. Get them while they are down. Don't want to give them any hope

    Pretty much.

Got back home at midnight last. Had to turn around and play in a golf outing this morning. Just sitting down for the first time in a couple days.

Long story short...I lost my voice in the 3rd inning of game 1 and haven't gotten it back yet. The crowd for game 1 was unlike any I can remember. It smelled like a football game in our section...you know the smell...reminds you of stale beer. I couldn't find a single kid and very few old folks. The joint was rocking.

Game 2 was a typical baseball crowd. Lots of kids in the house for a day game and lots of older folks who were not interested in standing with 2 strikes and 1 out in the 3rd inning.

The story for me is unlikely heroes. Perez in game 1 was phenomenal. Lonnie in game 2 with the big knock.

I think Kipnis could have a big postseason. He really seems to feed off the extra energy and elevates his game. Just seems like he was meant for these big moments.

This series isn't over by any stretch. Stop me if you have heard this before...Tribe have 3 games to close out Boston...2 of them in Boston and a potential game 5 with our CY Young winner pitching at home?

Start time will be delayed it looks and a good chance of postponement.

I guess even Mother Nature wants Papi around as long as possible

That doesn't look favorable. I'd like to see what the news or MLB says first, but I'm leaning toward it will get postponed. The MLB wasted no time postponing the Nats game here yesterday. They could have waited until 5/6ish and got the game in. It stopped raining until 1 am.

It may clear out around 7 or 8 but not sure how wet everything will be. Hate to see a key player on either team slip and strain something.

If it is moved to tomorrow it's going to be mid 50's with 15 mph wind....much like Nationals game today.

If it's postponed it's really gonna screw up relievers rest between 4 and 5. From what I read it greatly favors Boston for this game to be postponed than the Indians.

I'm not sure. Had Boston decided of they were going to use Porcello on short rest for game 4 or Rodriguez? A postponement means we get Bauer on full rest Tuesday instead of 3 days tomorrow.

Baseball players are used to playing everyday. I don't think it's a huge factor other than we wouldn't have to pitch anybody on short rest if we lose game 3.
