HitsRusTigers down big in the 8th.... A win here will be huge.

Gardens35Dang it.
-
BRFAnd we just got the punch in the mouth.
-
HitsRusYeah well Chisox put up at least a 6 spot in the sixth so that's not going to happen.
-
vball10setlol, yeah, we're gonna cakewalk to the division title

Ironman92This thread is bringing the lulz

TBone14You guys are crazy. We have won or split like 4 or 5 straight series. We are playing well. It's the middle of September and we haven't lost a series since late August until now. Don't want to peak too early.
I think our magic number is down to 12 with the Tigers loss. It's a cakewalk.

Gardens35Bump.

cat_loverStill 6Up. 6Up was a soft drink my grandfather invented and it didn't sell. If he would have only tried one more time.

I know you're just mocking my post, but this is what I'm talking about--we probably will win the division, but it won't be easy...and looking at the bigger picture, I'm concerned about the playoffs with the inconsistency of our starting pitching (except for Kluber).TBone14;1810884 wrote:You guys are crazy. I also saw that. Wow!Gardens35;1810883 wrote:Reps to the cameraman that found those two. -
iclfan2I'm with Vball, it's not that I don't think we will win the division, but the pitching issues in the last month of baseball don't exactly give me confidence going into the playoffs.

I know we haven't been to the playoffs in awhile but it's totally different. Guys who win MVPs go to the playoffs and can't hit (AROD). Guys who are career .280 hitters turn into postseason studs (Carlos Beltran). You're bullpen is always fresh with so many off days. Starters have a short leash.vball10set;1810896 wrote:I know you're just mocking my post, but this is what I'm talking about--we probably will win the division, but it won't be easy...and looking at the bigger picture, I'm concerned about the playoffs with the inconsistency of our starting pitching (except for Kluber).
I have no idea how some of our guys are going to respond. I do know with Tito around we'll have the best shot and hopefully he can keep them loose. For now, I'm just enjoying this team. Fun team. They don't quit. Young guys with superstar potential like Lindor. Guys who have kind of been on the fringe of being good or really good having great years like Kipnis and Santana.
Save the negativity for the shitty Browns. Here is the list of teams that Vegas Insider has with better odds of us to win the World Series:
Cubs 5/2
Rangers 6/1
Nats 6/1
Indians 15/2 (7.5/1)
The Rangers are 2/1 and we are 3/1 to win the AL Pennant. It seems like the only people who don't understand how good of a team we have are some of the people on these threads. -
Crimson streakThe thing I like about Bauer and carrasco is they are very competitive guys. They are players that I feel will turn up their game to the occasion. Especially Bauer, you can tell that kid just lives for the big moments. I'm pretty confident in our starters come post season.

I'd really feel better if Tomlin returns to form. Salazar cant be counted on to contribute anything at this point....I'm not sure even if he makes the postseason roster. Still, Kluber, Carrasco and Bauer aren't a bad 1,2,3...and that's all you really need.vball10set;1810896 wrote:I know you're just mocking my post, but this is what I'm talking about--we probably will win the division, but it won't be easy...and looking at the bigger picture, I'm concerned about the playoffs with the inconsistency of our starting pitching (except for Kluber).
