Ironman92Why not handoff to Zeke on 3rd??? WTF? Bucs still very much alive
-
ironman02I think Zeke is now at 1,551 yards rushing on the season. He needs 258 yards in his last two games to break Dickerson's rookie rushing record.
Probably gonna be tough since he might not get much work in the final week. -
superman
Totally agree although the personal foul on Tez was total bullshit.friendfromlowry;1829110 wrote:I know it'll never happen, but today was the epitome of why Marvin Lewis needs to be fired. You're winning at home against Pittsburgh, still (barely) in the playoff hunt. Then what? Pittsburgh makes all the adjustments, Cincinnati resorts back to no offense, the same idiots on defense making the same penalties. No discipline. -

Those are the sort of plays that if they work people marvel at how great of a play call it was because the defense was focused on Zeke getting the ball between the tackles.wildcats20;1829126 wrote:This cute shit is fucking annoying. Best o line, best run game and you try jet sweeps and reverses. Just stop.
There is a guest on the DP show who calls in and just rips to shreds teh cowboys and playcalling. He isnt entirely wrong, but this is not HS or college, you just cannot always run run run run in every situation. I think that some of Dak's success is because they are passing a little more at times when teams are still focusing on Zeke, and maybe, just maybe, a little bit of Zeke's success is because they arent just always running in every situation.
NFL wont fine him for jumping into the Salvation army thing, which is a good move. Now the NFL should have just donated the amount of what the fine would have been to the SA... -

Detroit has a pretty solid run D too while being a little more suspect in the secondary so his touches may be a little downironman02;1829135 wrote:I think Zeke is now at 1,551 yards rushing on the season. He needs 258 yards in his last two games to break Dickerson's rookie rushing record.

They said last night after Bailey missed his 2nd FG of the game that Tucker had taken over the career lead in FG%. I was worried about Tucker last week after being tagged with a miss when the guy jumped over the center and his attempt had no chance. Kicking is so much mental that that I was worried that the trauma of that timed jump would really mess him up, but he did very well after that last week and yesterday also. The most impressive thing to me is how high he kicks the ball and how consistently solid he hits it. Many kickers have a slight hook on the ball, but he kicks most of them with a slight fade. Many times I've thought on impact he missed it as it headed near the left upright, maybe even out side of it, but they nearly always fade back through.Ironman92;1829107 wrote:Is there a WAR for kickers?
The Ravens are 8-6, lost to the Jets but have Justin Tucker who you can argue is worth 4 wins this year.
Week 3 @Jacksonville....Ravens down 2 1:10 left.....Tucker makes a 53 yard FG on their terrible grass field
Week 15 they survive against the Eagles and of course Tucker drilled a 53 yard FG right before half....Ravens win by 1
Week 12 vs Bengals they win by 5 (but up 7 and purposefully take a safety)....Tucker kicked a 57, 54 and 52 yard FG
Early season vs Browns they win by 5 and Tucker nailed a 52 yard and a 49 yard FG
I say he's at least worth 2 wins over the AVERAGE NFL kicker and at least 3 games over a replacement.
10/10 on FG over 50 yards
Just to illustrate how fast it can go sour for an NFL place kicker, I really feel for last year's Minnesota kicker. He had the play-off game won in the terrible cold and wind with about 3 great kicks, then someone made a bonehead play and put them in jeopardy of losing and it came down to a chip shot FG for him to win the game again, and he shanked it badly and they lost, snatching defeat from the jaws of victory and ruining him mentally. This year he struggled and was finally cut. -
Ironman92Good start by Eli and the Giants

wildcats20Eli is such trash.

Unless OBJ takes it 80 yards, he's not very good.Ironman92;1829613 wrote:Good start by Eli and the Giants -

Classyposter58Collinsworth brought up an interesting point. It's weird how the bye weeks killed both Minnesota and Philly. Philly was 3-0, goes on the bye and falls apart, Minnesota was 5-0 and is already out of things with two games to go
-
Ironman92Terrible 4th and goal call against that Giants D-line
-
Ironman92Malcolm Jenkins doing ok
-
Ironman92What a stupid fucking challenge. Desperate
-
Ironman92Oh hell no on that spot. They gave him at least a foot, maybe 2 footballs and that just extended the game for the Giants
-
Ironman92Refs just blow it....completely obvious interference on Carroll. Ridiculous not to call that and I'm rooting for the Giants to lose
-
wildcats20
Well they just got completely screwed on that no call for DPI. It was so obvious.Ironman92;1829653 wrote:Oh hell no on that spot. They gave him at least a foot, maybe 2 footballs and that just extended the game for the Giants -
mhs95_06Patently wrong for refs not to call PI when the defender holds the receiver's arm down before the ball arrives.
-
Ironman92
Yep, refs blew 2 straight callswildcats20;1829655 wrote:Well they just got completely screwed on that no call for DPI. It was so obvious. -
Ironman92WTF? So dumb. Giants have a timeout still because of that play that must've been called by a Browns fan
-
Ironman92Sorry Eli
-
mhs95_06Eli's arm is getting too weak to be a winning QB.
-
like_thatBash Eli now, and then he pulls 4 great games out of his ass to win a SB.

Wouldn't surprise me...though him actually playing great would.like_that;1829699 wrote:Bash Eli now, and then he pulls 4 great games out of his ass to win a SB.
