O's @ Tribe- Series Thread

  • TBone14
Tribe come into Memorial Day weekend just half a game out of the division lead. Contrast that with last season when we were 9 games out on the Friday before Memorial Day.

The O's come into town having a good start to the year but are losers of 3 straight. The Indians are expecting great crowds this weekend.

    Friday- 7:10
    Wright vs Bauer

    Saturday- 4:10
    Jimenez vs Salazar

    Sunday-
TBD (hear he is undefeated this year) vs Clevinger

Go Tribe. Enjoy the holiday weekend. I'll be catching the Tribe in between rounds of golf, drinking and a deck rehab project.

If we manage to take 2/3 from the Os, I'll get irrationally excited about this team, especially with Carrasco about to return.

Wish we could find another starter, 'cause Anderson's not ready for the bigs, and imo, Bauer is a bullpen guy.

    Ohhhh.......THAT Jimenez!..........Ubaldo!

The subject of great discussion on here in the past.

    Ha ha.

    Fuck 'im.

    Go Tribe.

Our old friend, Ubaldo lasted less than 2 innings.... Sent to the showers after surrendering 6 runs :). Tribe up 8-2 in the 6th.

1st place. Win again today and 1st place on Memorial Day. Haven't said that in a long time.

I like what I see out of him though. He hasn't been able to avoid the big innings, but he has some quick shutdown innings a lot also. Anderson and Bauer just have guys on base all game. Lose lose lol.

But, at least with Bauer you have the chance at a dominant performance every 3-4 starts.

    Bauer is still learning.
This team has great pitching but the staff is young and has yet to mature. Only Tomlin and Kluber are pitching to their potential. Carrasco is pretty much there.( remember his early struggles to find consistency?)....Salazar is getting there... The others not so much.
The team will settle on the guy with the hot hand as the 5th starter as the season wears on.... Last year it was Anderson.
