2016 NFL Playoff Thread

Actually this sets up to be an extremely low scoring game where Pittsburgh literally has nowhere to go on offense. If Ben can't throw it deep, it really limits Bryant. Heath Miller might have to catch 12-15 balls and the Steelers slow the pace down. Antonio Brown makes that team.

Without Brown and with the other (non-Heath) receivers being primarily deep threats, the Steelers will need another 5-TO half or so from Denver to have anything resembling a legit chance. Denver's offense is shaky enough that I can believe it'll be a low-scoring game -- I just don't know where Pittsburgh's points will come from with the way things look right now.

I think Pittsburgh is going to pull this out of their ass, somehow. Their biggest concern should be keeping Roethlisberger upright because, if I'm Denver, I'm targeting that shoulder in a BIG way. Nothing dirty, just LOTS of hits on it. If it comes down to Landry Jones versus an over the hill Peyton Manning, I'm still taking Manning over that crap sandwich Jones.

If he wins this without Bell, Brown and Williams.....this one may be legit

I heard a stat that said when Brown wasn't in the game (88 plays?) on offense, the Steelers only averaged 1.6 yards/play. I don't know what the figure was when he was in the game but I bet it was significantly more. 1.6 is pretty bad.

No LeVeon Bell as the punishing tackler got him. No Williams. Haley will have to find ways to get some running attack but also hit Miller over middle as the go to instead of Brown.

Call me crazy but I would have some set plays for Vick and the first one would be a bomb to Bryant or the bum Heyward Bay. They stand no chance if they don't go deep to relieve some of the pinning back of the ears by the Broncos....if Ben can throw it 50 yards that would even better.

I'm not reverse jinxing be use they'll give it a go no doubt, but it's really setting up a Manning/Brady AFC final showdown.

But maybe it'll be Steelers at Chiefs for the AFC marbles

Brady toyed with the Chiefs on that first drive. When the Pats are healthy they are still the pride of the AFC.

Dirty fuck...Bengals will make a trade for him

That was one of the dirtiest things I've seen in the NFL lol just so fucking random and unnecessary. Worst part? Only cost the pats about 2 yards. Should have thrown his ass out.

That has to be the next step. I've never seen anything like that from THE punt returner, during a punt.

Few inches short but gutsy....took a hard hit. Avoids the strange looking tackle going for his knees
  • Ironman92
If you are going to piss off Brady you better just knock him out of the game.

    Hello, team to beat.

SMH at running the ball there...potentially a critical error but probably just stupid in the end

4 passing plays or Smith scramble for TD

Wasted the 2 min warning timeout

Worst time management I've ever seen
