Browns and Niners Footwedge Style

So pumped that Manziel is finally getting his chance to shine. I've been banned on the other thread, because you know, it's just not kosher in Cleveland to be a JFF backer. Doesn't matter what stats you use to bolster the argument that kid is the real deal. Just doesn't matter.

We know that Johnny, in his first year of actually playing has outperformed Carr, Winston, and Bridgewater in their respective first years of actually playing. And he's done that with a horrible offensive line and a non existent running game.

Takes a talented player to do that.

The Johnny backers will be in full force Sunday rooting him on. The stadium will be 3/4 full instead of half full that we've see over the past 2 weeks. Why? Because in spite of what the local media will have you believe, there's a huge contingency of Browns fans that know Manziel gives the team the best chance to win...and that they are tired of losing. Pope Mike the 23rd has been over ruled by the top brass, and Johnny will likely make him look really bad when he puts up his usual numbers.

Oh...and kudos to QueenCityBuckeye for abusing his authority and banning me over there. Wouldn't America be wonderful if one had to follow the orders of the monarch and not be permitted to express their opinions that might differ from theirs. Das Kapital!!!

Had I known I was a moderator, I would have done it long ago.

How is it possible for one man to prove that he's a moron over and over like FW does? Lol

Personally, I think the Browns should cut all their actual NFL players and bring in some scrappy scrubs. I watched The Replacements and, man, when they bonded together, they won the big game!

Why not? Couldn't get much worse. They have lost, I believe, 15 of their last 17. The margin of loss is averaging just shy of two TD's.

Hoo boy....Johnny football will have Benjamin back. If Pettine allows TP to play, and actually uses him, this could get really ugly for the Niners on Sunday. Had to chuckle on the Baskins and Phelps show when their side kick, forget his name, called this the biggest "must lose" game in Browns history. Well played sir, whatever your name is.

On a positive note to an otherwise horrible season, Pettine will soon be gone and the healing will begin. Barnidge threw away millions and signed long term with the Browns. Terrell Pryor will be a force and Josh Gordon will be back. The defense is absolutely horrible and help is needed everywhere. But with that said the Browns should unload the number 1 overall and draft the best running back available and yes...another offensive lineman in the first round. They should use their number 2 on the place kicker from Florida State. Now IF the Browns don't flub the 2 first round choices, their offense should be top 10 with Manziel wrecking the league.

Again, so fired up for Sunday's game to watch the future franchise quarterback doing his thing. The only other poster to share these views on these boards is HitsRUs. Enjoy the game Hits. I hope you and Mrs Hits have a great time.

Jimmy needs to empty the bak account and drag Chuckie out of the booth and onto the sidelines. Not only is the guy a proven winner, but players loved the guy. Moreover, he has the ability, unlike Pettinne, to grade talent correctly (No more cutting of Dion Lewis types)and as such, knows Johnny can flat out ball.

The second choice would be Hugh Jackson. All one has to do is look at the numbers put up by the ginger playing quarterback this year. Of course in Cincy, they give the quarterback 3 years or so to develop. Here in Cleveland, they label a guy a bust before his first handful of games.

Was just talking to one of my best friends and long time golf partner where I used to live. Dude was an A&M grad and streamed all the games when Johnny was in college. He said that all the comparisons with JJF and Tarkenton, Wilson and Flutie are bogus, He said that after watching him play for 2 years, he should be compared to Drew Breez, only with wheels.

Same accuracy, same arm strength same brains, same height. However he cautioned me that JJF might be thrown out of football for his insubordination issues, My friend is a military type guy and doesn't like talking back to the drill sergeant.

Why waste a second round pick on a kicker? They should just sign Gus. He's the best field goal kicker I have ever seen. http://video.disney.com/watch/gus-trailer-4beaf66de039c2b6f1045dfd

So at that point you were like "LOL YO JOHHNNY HATER youll be bitter when hes the best QB for the Browns for the next 35 years and remember when he won the Heisman as a teenager and he was really cute"

My best friend is having his Birthday Party for his little girl at 4:30 on Sunday, he also is a Browns fan. I told him I would be over after the game was over, so expect me at about 2:30. This team is shit, I dont know what to do about it, and Im about to just commit fan suicide. I just do not know if I can handle another decade of this.

Drew Breez at Purdue...4 years...Completion % at 61.1 with 90 touchdown passes and 45 interception for a TD/Pick ratio of exactly 2-1. He finished 3rd in the Heisman voting one year and 4th in another. This guy is headed for the HOF.

Manziel at A&M ...2 years...Completion % at 68.9 with 63 touchdown passes and 22 interceptions for a TD/ Pick ratio of almost 3-1. Breez had the luxury of playing against weak competition in the Big 10 whereby Manziel played against SEC competiotion which at that time was miles ahead of the Big10. Hmmmmm.

And the Cleveland media wants him run out of town before even watching him play?

Just LMAO at the likes of Al Bungy, Lunatic and the rest here that say he doesn't have any skills. This is what can happen whenever people spew their nonsense without knowing a single fact.

Please post the stats from Tom Brady, and Timmy Chang in college so that we can compare. I'm curious as to which one is the greatest QB of all time.

    1. Go to Google images.

    2. Type in "facepalm"

    3. Virtually every picture you'll see is the only response this post needs.

Can you add to that how college stats 100% of the time predict who will be the better pro? :)

He should post Tebow's stats too.

FW, on a related note, I bet most of the posters on this site aren't even smart enough to see that Archie is the greatest NFL player of all time since he won the Heisman twice.

Tomorrow is the day the franchise turns around😊

As long as he continues to constantly post about how he won the Heisman. Just like Tebow, Geno Torretta, Charlie Ward, Eric Crouch, Troy Smith, Sam Bradford, RGIII and other current and past greats.

It'd be one thing if he was capable of arguing points re: an athlete's merits like a rational human being. But he does nothing but cherry-pick stats and accomplishments and ignores all evidence to the contrary. He brings up the Heisman while ignoring how many Heisman winners either had disappointing NFL careers or didn't even really have one at all. He brings up college stats while at a big-time SEC program while ignoring just how little that matters to the NFL. Hell, 2/4 teams in Cleveland's division have had long-time starters from either the MAC or 1-AA/FCS levels. He ignores a pattern of off-field issues because, hey, back in the 60s, guys partied! He ignores every on-field mistake because they were all someone else's fault.

It's like taking the worst of the politards and making them sports pundits.
  • GoChiefs
Just to add, is FW the absolute worst at coming up with "nicknames"? Everytime I read one of his sick "burns", it just leaves me SMH.
  • Footwedge
I see the sheep have followed me over to my thread. Lemmings I tell ya...lol. All this from the same group that cried and cried and cried that I should be bant....claimed they just couldn't take it anymore. LOL....and here they are..so predictable.....like bad breath in the morning.

Tomorrow is going to be a really, really tough day for the aforementioned Johnny haters. I mean...really bad day. While people like BRF, Hits and I are going to enjoy the show that Johnny puts on, the bashers prayers will be dashed as the Browns under the tutelage of JJF will engineer a blowout win putting in serious jeopardy the Browns "winning" the number 1 overall pick.

Come Monday morning, like **** roaches in the kitchen when the lights go on, they'll disappear. Johnny will be serving up a huge plate of STFU to Bruce blew a Hooley, Butt Munch Bishop, Dustin Faux Pas, Adam the full of Bull, Meryll Hokey Pokey, and Bill Coward.

All the while John Gruden will be wagging his finger at each and all while saying...."told you so".

Damn I get wait for kickoff!!!.
