Official Titans @ Browns

like_thatSaid can go fuck himself. Anyway, if Mariota comes out next week like he currently is in Tampa, the Browns are going to get stomped.

Uz2Bon36lol

like_thatAgreed, Browns were laughable today. They just looked awful at all parts of the game. They should be embarrassed on that flight back.
-
Uz2Bon36After todays game what is your guess for the Browns record?

SportsAndLadySaid go kill yourself
Pumped for the home opener. Hopefully we can get a win but Tennessee looked good today. -

Ironman92Browns in Cleveland will be better than Tampa Bay's defense.
I like that Mariota did well today but feel like a young batter/pitcher off to a good start....the league catches up quickly. Browns will focus on taking away what he did well...he'll have to show he can adjust. Doubtful he'll be very comfortable in the Dawg Pound. Guarantee 2+ bad picks.
Don't know who the hell will win. Takes at least 3 weeks to get much of a grasp on the league.....even though some know everything after 2 drives. -

Classy and Rob. Great track record of not being dumbasses...Ironman92;1750530 wrote:Browns in Cleveland will be better than Tampa Bay's defense.

friendfromlowryHow do concussion protocols work anymore? Is it likely McCown could be back? Or just waiting to hear how severe his was?

In high school it's pretty much at least a week.friendfromlowry;1750566 wrote:How do concussion protocols work anymore? Is it likely McCown could be back? Or just waiting to hear how severe his was?
I don't know the NFL protocol but it won't be too lenient in this day and age. They have came a long way in just a few years. Was it about 5 years ago James Harrison nearly decapitated Colt McCoy and McCoy went right back in throwing a crazy dumb pick in the end zone ....then after the game was tested for a seemingly obvious concussion (apologies for any inaccuracies of my memory). McCown didn't look to get much of a hit, said he was ok but they took him for tests regardless. Pretty much any suspicion and you gotta go.
In high school they are overly cautious and gave the umpires power to remove a player due to possible concussion and it doesn't matter if a trainer or team Dr. Is there to negate it....that athlete cannot come back in the contest. -

Great read on JFF getting his life back together, lets hope it translates. -

That's a great article and spells out what actually happened on Sunday. "There was more good than bad". Sums it up. Whether all the JFF bashers like it or not, Manziel by far and away is the Browns best quarterback prospect they have had since Tim Couch. Just imagine how good he'll be if the team ever learns how to run the ball and pass protect.Commander of Awesome;1750990 wrote:http://bleacherreport.com/articles/2562595-what-johnny-manziels-hometown-knows-about-its-favorite-son-that-we-dont?utm_source=twitter.com&utm_medium=referral&utm_campaign=programming-national

Just three weeks? A few years, especially recently, it seems you're halfway through the season and still don't know what to expect from half the teams, lol.Ironman92;1750530 wrote:Browns in Cleveland will be better than Tampa Bay's defense.

shook_17I'll be there Sunday in the muni lot. Looking forward to it. Typical CLE fashion i think we lose and I wouldn't be surprised to see Terrance West go for over 100 Sunday. Who the hell knows how this game turns out. I have zero faith in our defense. I hope manziel gets the nod for I think with first team reps he will look a lot better Sunday. I think a good performance and a win or close game makes it hard to put McCown back in.

After how prescient he was in regards to Richardson's ineptness Haslam would do well to listen to the man and ensure Ray Farmer is never allowed back in the building.RobertLusetich 19h 19 hours ago Los Angeles, CA Ran into # JimBrown working on his golf game. Told him @ Browns look as bad as ever."Nothin' gonna change if that front office stays the same"

IggyPride00Austin Davis getting heavy first team reps today with McCown out and Johnny severely limited because of his elbow.
Also heard reported on 850 on the way home that if the Browns lose Sunday not to count anything out, hinting that accountability might soon finally be coming and jobs mercifully could finally be on the line.
Jimmy has seen first hand what trash he has assembled and it seems like even he is finally becoming embarrassed at what a disaster he puts on the field every week.
Even if we lose this week we win because it sounds like the ray of sunshine that is Pettine/Farmer being shown the door could finally be starting to show itself in Cleveland. -
shook_17Dude goldhammer has no sources what so ever. He throws shit at a wall and hopes it sticks. F Pettine and farmer are fired who's going to take over? Flip O'Neal? Not head coaching experience. Then who is going to take this job? The answer is nobody. They will be here at least through the year. And another thing, it wasn't heavy reps. So please stfu with the doom and gloom bullshit.
-
IggyPride00Reporting on the OBR says right now they are planning on starting that piece of human excrement Josh McCown Sunday.
Are you freaking kidding me? What on earth does that buy this team? For the love of all that is holy just let Johnny play for a few weeks in a row and see how it goes.
We know this team is bad and is not going anywhere. Why on earth would we be playing the 36 year old QB with no future that is one more concussion from drooling in a senior home when we have a 2nd year first round QB rotting away on the pine?
This is just another example of why the whole gang will be looking for new jobs next season. -
DeyDurkie5Just got my tickets for the game Sunday. Will post pictures as I'm not an idiot, drunk deadbeat like tiernan. Also planning on meeting up with mantooth at his tailgate. Should be a good time

IggyPride00I was just listening to the radio again and Browns fans were calling in just irate about the new McCown news. Clear implications are that Pettine is literally coaching for his job this week and has so little faith in Johnny he prefers a 36 year old half concussed journeyman that thinks he Elway in a Super Bowl.
The fan base is falling apart right now and the despair I was so concerned about has officially set in. People are already calling in talking about the draft, as well as how we will inevitably screw ourselves for it by winning some meaningless games with Pettine's new buttboy McCown.
This guy has a hard-on for journeyman QB's that would make even Mangini blush. Perfect fit for Cleveland.
