You read the whole thing, like it was some cheating move, in the end...the Steelers false started, Ben thought it was illegal, turns out it isn't and the Steelers even noticed it on tape and scouted it.

Maybe this is why New England wins. They preoccupy teams so much into everything being a possible cheating maneuver, they have an advantage over everyone.
It brings the lulz when Abboud involved with the steelers (players, coaches, fo, or even fans) qq about other teams cheating.

    Hey pot, meet kettle.

Let me know when Pittsburgh gets a rep similar to New England in regards to "cheating."

I'm curious to hear what the explanation will be regarding the headsets. This is the first I've heard of something happening like that.

Yea. Brady much worse than rapist, dog torturer and guy who beat up his wife over his sons baptism (Harrison)

It's a 3 team race for the biggest POS organization in football between Steelers, Ravens, and the Pats. However, I gotta hand the crown to the steelers at the moment, they're truly scum.

Pretty sure Tomlin tried to trip a player 2 years ago, but hey nothing to see here! Go on with your day.

Also not to mention their dynasty in the 70s was aided by steroids before anyone else discovered steroids. But you're right, all class Auto!

Cool. One day into the season and the slapfights between fans of one of the three most POS organizations and one of the three most irrelevant ones have commenced!

So the asinine move by Tomlin two years ago is on the same page as the many accusations and "gates" going on with NE? That's remarkable.

Don't act surprised. It's like fishing with dynamite. I can predict responses before I even hit enter.

Similar rep for cheating? No. Similar rep for putting winning above all else and being a POS organization?* Yes. http://yourteamcheats.com/PIT

*No one comes close to the Patriots. But among all the teams not quite as bad as them, Pittsburgh is up there.

Thank you. I'm glad it was addressed immediately and hopefully that's the end of hearing about it.

I never said they were. Pats get away with a bunch of shit and its bullshit. My point is the steelers and their fans really have no room to bitch.

To answer your question I would say what Tomlin did was 100x worse than deflating balls but not worse than spygate.
  • Automatik
People will find a reason to bitch about anything, you should know that by now. Look at your Cleveland thread.

I actually don't give a shit about any of the cheating allegations with NE, I just get sick of hearing about it. They aren't some unstoppable force. They can be beat, but you must execute and Pittsburgh severely lacked in that regard.

Schefter just read a text on the air saying the Steelers have no plans to officially appeal the headset issue. So hopefully that ends it.
  • Azubuike24
Apparently too, the headsets are the responsibility of the NFL officials to set up and check before the games. The teams do not do it. They won't start the game if they are working. Maybe Goodell should've been there to make sure his organization does their jobs right. It's irony that it happened in New England, but unlike some of the other stuff, the Patriots don't have direct impact on this one. Could be why Pittsburgh doesn't appeal.

The headset issue is dumb...no there shouldn't be a problem but bad fortune with the Suisham injury cost us 6 points, idiotic Heyward Bay stepping OB for no reason cost 4 points and bad bad focus on the goal line false start cost 3 more.

FB talk about sports is the bottom of the totem pole.

Steelers need someone scary and pissy on defense. James Harrison is as about as mean as I am these days lol. I think his gf could take him.

Jarvis Jones needs to step the fuck up.

Have you seen his work out vids? Dude is still a beast. As for a scary defender, why not Shark?

Yeah, if you have situations like 1st and goal at the 1 and don't get 7 from that, the LAST thing you need to be talking about are underhanded dealings (real or perceived) by the other team. You take care of business, you have a good shot at winning; you don't, last night happens.
  • Automatik
The miscommunication in the secondary drove me fucking crazy.

Yeah...he's insanely strong and all but he's not that scary ass guy anymore. Last time I heard him give an interview he sounded like Polamalu and the time before that he was doing an interview and they showed LeBeau and he teared up (as much as I respect that...that's not the James Harrison we need)
