Kobe 60 points in 41 min on 50 FG and 12 FT attempts.

Counting 2 FT as a FG attempt, Curry was 1.70 pts/FG attempt, Kobe 1.07. I guess that's a big reason why the Warriors won 73 and the Lakers 17. Home fans were happy in both cases tonight!
Quit being a butthurt bitch boy!!

    I don't even see 1:15AM on NYE.

I love staying up and not missing anything live but life is busy and I need 6 hours of sleep. I rarely go to bed before 11:30 and it's always because of my need to not miss anything in the sporting world.

Kinda rooting against GSW and 73 and Kobe shooting 50 times and all those free throws just is a courtesy gift that skews his total of 60.

    So true.

Kobe goes out as only he could with 60 points on 50 shots against a team with nothing to play for.

    all time great performance!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'll admit he ended the game well making 5 of his last 6 shots. I still cannot imagine actually taking 50 shots in a game

It was a fun quarter to watch and a fun game to watch.

I will say this; it did look like the refs were giving Kobe everything he wanted and that the Jazz were just chucking towards the end there. I'm not saying the Jazz were trying to lose but they sure as shit didn't look like they were trying to win.

Anyone else notice when Kobe was going for 60 on his final FT that Hayward stepped into the lane way before the shot basically making sure Kobe got to 60.

Top 25 of "Most FG Attempts in a game"(since 83-84), Kobe has 10 of the 25 and set the record last night.

Didn't realize the Raptors/Lowry are the NBA's version of the Bengals in the playoffs. But this a good game. I think the Cavs dodged a bullet by not having to face Indiana.

Anyone think Houston will pull their heads out of their asses and give GSW some competition?
  • Mulva
    Paul George is dominating

    Not likely.

No. They're one of those teams with talent but no drive. Didn't really even deserve to sniff the playoffs, but when you invite 16 teams, some shit always seeps through.

Houston playing like everyone expected them to.

Couple miserable games out of the west today.

Nice to see Steph coming up limping a little bit. Not that I wish injury on anyone but I was so butthurt in last year's playoff when everyone else was dealing with major injuries and the Warriors were 100% healthy.

Yeah not sympathy here for the GSW

Not sympathetic but want Cavs to beat a healthy GS...though it would still be great if they beat them and Curry, Green and Thompson all battling injuries

That ESPN video by Windhorst on what was supposed to be was supposed to be was great. I mean I think we all thought a couple years ago a Lebron-Love-Irving core with that cast around them would dominate the NBA. Nobody ever thought a team lead by Green-Thompson and Curry would become one of the best teams in league history and that Curry would dethrone Lebron as the games most dominant player. A finals rematch would be epic

Cleveland hasn't won a championship in 50 years, i don't care if we beat GSW's D-league team if it ends that drought.
