What's shitty is, say I pay $1500 for a ticket to that game and Kobe announces in March he's returning. Do I then get the option of buying them for the original $200 and getting the difference back?

    No, no you don't.

That's not how reality works. I hope people stop using stub hub.

    I hope he wasn't serious.

I didn't take it as a serious post, more of a hypothetical to show the ridiculousness of stub hubs actions.

The reality is, regardless of the outcome of this, stub hub is a dirty company. The best way to destroy a dirty company and the idea of being a dirty company is to not use the company.

    That's how capitalism works.

Would love to stop using stubhub but they're the only ticket company that I know of that guarantees your sale. I like that.

Yes but people don't think like that. They want the government to provide some sort of regulation to "protect" the customer. Anyways, back to NBA talk...

Is Lebron the best player on the planet? No doubt.

Did you not read the article? Apparently your sale is only guaranteed if stub hub deems that it can't make more money selling for a higher price.
  • Azubuike24
I wasn't serious. It just points to how shady that story is (this was the first I heard of it).

Guess I meant guarantee from fraud/fake tickets.

That's always a concern buying tickets online. I'd rather spend a few extra bucks for tickets on stubhub for that service than buy tickets off someone on Craigslist.

Jimmy Butler becoming quite the player.

Last night was a great NBA night, every game was awesome with the exception of the Lakers GSW game.

Hey it was competitive for 3 quarters lol.

When I was watching the game it was the Drummond and Jackson show. While Curry and Thompson both had a great game, Jackson kept coming back at them. Drummond was a beast on the glass and was in Green's head. At one point in the 4th, they almost went at it.

Something about it being Ben Wallace night with most of the Championship team being there, really lit a fire under the Pistons and the Warriors were unable to put it out. I think this got to Green too. He grew up watching these guys and when the game was immediately over, he was with the Piston players greeting the former players and Wallace's wife.

Milwaukee, Dallas, Denver and now Detroit. I haven't put my finger on it yet but whatever weaknesses these losses have shown, I hope the Cavs can point them out and capitalize it.

Pistons looked so good tonight. Honestly they're one great scorer away from being a title contender. Drummond is a hell of a center

Yeah, can't argue that. If they get a great scorer, they could contend for the Central Division crown.

Curry didn't play against Dallas, and Green didn't play against Denver. Milwaukee and Detroit are both tough matchups for Green. Green is the bigger issue than curry for a lot of teams going up against the warriors. I think the Warriors pace is going to slow down a bit. Their schedule gets tougher. They still have 4 games each with the spurs and thunders.

At this point, this must be an act. You can't possibly be this fucking stupid.

Love when teams use their PG to just go right at curry. He's a TERRIBLE defender and you make him work on defense. Every game they've lost, that he's played, that's what teams have done.

Many of us OC'ers have been saying this for a very long time. He's absolute trash on defense.

Not to mention this gets repeated when we say "the Cavs would have beaten GSW if we had Irving."
