...and I think it would be fair to say that Paul George might never had a year this good again.

It's still remarkable that he's doing it less than a year and a half removed from one of the worst injuries ever.

We'll see...the modern "pace and space" puts a value premium on his sort of positional versatility and skillset on both sides of the ball. I don't see him losing a lot of value anytime soon. Could always be wrong though.

And I'm using value to mean win shares and VORP, since it's possible that his stats go down but he plays at an equally high level.

    lol....you're starting to "get it"

Exactly. I contribute nothing on here but calling people out. Way easier than having a substantive conversation ;)

I was suggessting that you enjoy beating shit into a bloody pulp over and over again. It's your thing, I get it. Just gotta know when and when not to engage.

I didn't interpret your post any other way, I was just adding to it. I spend a lot of time on here attempting to get people to admit the stupidity of some of the dumb shit they say. There's a lot more of that to go around than actual substantive sports chatter, which I engage in when there's good conversation going on.

I don't hide from that, it's fun for me. I wasn't joking when I said that I think people who make revisionist comments are worse than lawyers, so I like to call them out on it.

This thread is a perfect example. Azubuike brought back up the Paul George top 10/Andrew Wiggins conversation, I made a comment regarding what S&L said (wasn't planning on adding anything else), S&L tried to revise the intent of his original statement, and you saw what ensued. Then he admitted to it, and that's that.

Holy shit, can we please stop talking about Paul George? Might as well start a thread about "Okay players who have good games sometimes when they are not injured, but will in reality never win anything relevant without being carried by an actual all-star caliber player and even then its suspect because the player is likely to regress down to more mediocre as he ages"

Worst looking injury, sure. I'd rather do that than have microfracture, or a back injury. Just saying

Think I'm gonna go to Lakers spurs game tomorrow. Hate kobe, but would be cool to see him play once.

Definitely cool. I got to see CP3, Howard, Shaq, Kobe, Duncan, LBJ, Curry & Squad, Penny all in their prime. The stars are always memorable.

A couple weeks ago, I was wondering how cheap 76ers tickets are this year, so I went on Stubhub. Cheapest were going for like $10-15, but that was the week the Lakers came to town and that game was like $75 for cheapest.

Three years ago when the Wizards were just awful, I remember seeing tickets for $1. I forgot who they were playing.

I have a few cousins who live in DC (one is a Wizards fan) and they said the same thing. A few years back they would go to Wiz games for free.

I remember in 2002 being able to go to cavs game for $6. Buddy and I went quite often.

Yeah it wasn't unusual to see living social or groupon deals for wiz tickets. The only time they surged the price was when Lebron was in town. Wizards fans are a joke. I have gone the past 3 years for the cavs/wiz game and every time cavs fans outnumber the wiz fans. Even when the cavs didn't have Lebron.

It'll just be me tonight so I figure I'll scalp one right at gametime, and it'll be cheaper.
  • Midstate01
I went to uswnt game last night. Cheapest ticket was 21. Anything lower bowl was 56. I kept twitter searching and saw the place was empty so bought the 21 dollar tickets and sat in the 4th row behind the goal. 10k there last night. Was really really disappointed.

Yeah I'm gonna just hit stub hub all night and day tomorrow. If I see one that drops below 40 I'll probably go.
  • Midstate01
The ones here tonight are going UP on stub hub as day goes on. Not used to seeing that.
