like_thatI'd like Spieth to win for obvious reasons, but if not DJ winning would be a good story of responding to adversity after choking 3 weeks ago. Also you can see his wife.
-
Ironman92The number of big names from a decade ago and the big names now and even two amateurs within 2-3 shots. Literally every big name current guy is right there....sans Bubba
-
Ironman92DJ while still tied for the lead looks like the worst golfer in the top 20
-
wildcats20Spieth is just another level right now.
-
Ironman92
He really is....there are 20 within 3 shots and 11 within 1 and I just told my son he might win by 6. But I love the big names from the past like Harrington and Goosen. Would love to see Sergio breakthrough after all of these years.wildcats20;1741451 wrote:Spieth is just another level right now. -

Paddy with the line of the tournament.Ironman92;1741453 wrote:He really is....there are 20 within 3 shots and 11 within 1 and I just told my son he might win by 6. But I love the big names from the past like Harrington and Goosen. Would love to see Sergio breakthrough after all of these years.

Impossible not to like the goofy Harrington. Spieth winning and he's in Tigerville but I'm currently on the Sergio bandwagon.wildcats20;1741456 wrote:Paddy with the line of the tournament.

SpockHey DJ, pars arent going to do it. quit hitting irons off the tee and start banging it
-
Ironman92
Yeah...getting up and down for par the rest of the way and he won't be in the top 30 at the end. He looks terrible mentally......but 1 or 2 shots can get him back going.Spock;1741458 wrote:Hey DJ, pars arent going to do it. quit hitting irons off the tee and start banging it -
Ironman92I can't fathom Spieth not getting to at least -14 so everyone -8 or better has a fighting chance.
I think Dunn will fall off and not even be top amateur. Louie and Day will be there till the end. Hoping Sergio, Johnson, Johnson, Paddy, Goosen, Fowler, Scott and Rose all play well as this could be one of the best ever.
I'll guess Martin Kaymer at -5 goes 66 to make himself interestingly in it and guessing Spieth wins it at -15 over Day and Rose at -13 -
gerb131Going with Day...
-
gerb131All bunched up. Spieth just doubled.
-
gerb131Leishman to -16 and the lead
-
gerb131And Sergio folds lol
-
Laley23The only guy I don't want to win in about the top 20 is Leishman.
-
sherm03Speith has come back really nicely after that double. But man, he keeps just missing shots to make it even harder on him. I think the pressure of getting to 3 straight majors is starting to really get to him.
-
Terry_TateThis has been an awesome day of golf. Hopefully Leishman doesn't run away with it here to make it anticlimatic.

Almost shocked.gerb131;1741531 wrote:And Sergio folds lol -

What's wrong with Leishman? As for me about the only guy I don't want to see win is Adam Scott.Laley23;1741532 wrote:The only guy I don't want to win in about the top 20 is Leishman. -
Laley23
I like the best to win majors. He is good, but the others up there are better.Iliketurtles;1741536 wrote:What's wrong with Leishman? As for me about the only guy I don't want to see win is Adam Scott. -
Laley23Everyone is top 25 with a major in hand on the first page...and Marc Leishman at 61 in the OWGR. That's all. Nothing against him, I just think Golf and Tennis are better when you start to get repeat winners who will be in contention at upcoming majors as well. Makes for better leaderboards (like we get today).
-
SportsAndLadyDisagree with that. I like Leishman and don't have to have a top golfer win for me to be happy. Like the underdogs
-
SportsAndLadyWtf was zach johnsons caddie just doing. Lol
-
sherm03
LOL! I was thinking the same thing. That bird dance was pretty damn weird.SportsAndLady;1741540 wrote:Wtf was zach johnsons caddie just doing. Lol -

Yeah that's understandable. I was really just hoping for some type of bad story about him and that's why you didn't like him haha.Laley23;1741538 wrote:Everyone is top 25 with a major in hand on the first page...and Marc Leishman at 61 in the OWGR.
