I know I know....just let me have it.

Anyone else attending any of the Fanfest/Derby/Game etc?
  • wildcats20
Reds fans did it. Frazier will be the starter at third.
  • Ironman92
    Frazier won it!
  • Ironman92
Harper hasn't taken BP on the field in 4 months? Hard to argue but sounds like a derby no

Frazier won the vote by 2 million.

Yeah, he said his swing got out of whack because he tried to put on a show. So he just does it in the cage and works on his mechanics. The success he has had...I'd say no chance he does the derby and possibly screws with it.

Kipnis got ripped off but love watching Altuve and glad it wasn't freaking Infante

Glad A Roid didn't win the vote.

He may make the team though...I doubt he will but his numbers are close

I'll be there Sunday-Tuesday Ironman, you going to be there all 3 days?
  • Ironman92
I'm going to Fanfest Sat morn-early afternoon...spending night in Cincy. Going back Sunday morn thru early afternoon. Then going to stadium for futures game and celebrity softball game. Drive home Sun night but my son and I heading back Mon afternoon for Derby BP and derby, staying night and going to game Tues evening.

I bought 10 5 day Fanfest passes on Ticket Network for $25 total. I've sold 3 for $45 and depending on other family members may sell up to 4 more. They were $1 per ticket with a $15 Fed Ex fee.

Bryce Harper is a no for the derby. Shit

    Nelson Cruz also has declined.

My hopes: Frazier, Joc, Goldschmidt, Bryant and for the AL Cespedes, Trout, Bautista and Davis

If you were MLBer would you be in the HR hitting contest?

As a fan I would love to see all the big HR guys in it, but I can see why they dont want to

No. I'd prefer not to contribute to any event that has Chris Berman going "BACKBACKBACKBACKBACK" 5 million times in a couple hours. And the part where I'd be a bit worried that spending that time blasting softballs would fuck up my swing probably would play a bit of a role.

Joc and Bryant said they would....so that's 2 good ones if asked. Joc definitely will be
  • wildcats20
Frazier all but told Jim Day that he was doing it without actually saying it. Not really how he can get left off. It's the top 8 HR guys and he is tied for 2nd. And Stanton is out.
  • Ironman92
Stanton out just fucking sucks. He could've went for the scoreboard and the Toyota truck

    Oh definitely.

Pujols is going to be in the derby. I like that.

Wondering if that will sway Trout and other big names to also do it.

Guessing it means Trout won't. Doubtful any team has 2. If Rizzo does unlikely they'll ask Bryant
  • Laley23
    Trout already said no, right?

Though on the bottom line this AM it said he would decide on Wednesday. I92 makes a good point. I was just think that if the big name of Pujols was in maybe Trout would join as well.
  • Laley23
I saw a headline hinting that Trout wouldn't be in it this year, but he might in the future, but you never know. I took it as you never know he may never do it, but obviously it must've been you never know he may still this year.

Ticket Network is a big from me. I've been following prices on 4 sites and good seats.com has been the lowest almost the whole way. Called them today for final prices and they were exactly as I figured 25% charge per ticket and $15 for Fed Ex or $7.50 for E ticket....called ticket network for same seats and she totaled it out and before I made any comment she said "let me see what I can do"....then said it again and 30 seconds later she knocked off $105 in discounts and got $30 lower for the derby and she took off over $170 for game seats...far outdoing the other 3.
