I 92's Baseball Trivia...500 Hits

  • Ironman92
Part A. Name the two active players with 500+ hits for 3 different teams.Part B. Name the only player in MLB History to do this for 4 teams.Part C. Name the player in MLB history that has had 500+ for 3 teams with the most and fewest career hits.

A rod is one of two id imagine.

    Part B - Ricky Henderson?
  • GOONx19
    A. ARod, obviously. Torii Hunter? I would say Tejada but he probably needed one more year in Houston. Aramis will get it this year if he had enough in Pittsburgh to start his career.
  • GOONx19
I think Henderson only played for 2 teams longer than 2 years.
  • Laley23
    Aramis?

Yeah, just looked him up. I figured he only needed 2.5/3 to get to 500, but he never played that long outside of yanks and oak.

I'd guess Roberto Alomar for B.

Aramis Ramirez had 500 with Cubs and is close with the Brewers. I don't know if he made it with the Pirates.
  • Ironman92
Arod is one....Aramis is a no.

    Rickey is not answer B

Alomar is not B but is the best incorrect guess. Had 497 and 495 with 2 teams and over 500 with 2

    Beltre for A?
  • Ironman92
Ramirez is at 442 with Brewers....540 or so with Pirates and around 1200 with Cubs

    Gotta be.
  • Ironman92
Beltre is the other answer on A
  • Laley23
If Thome qualified, I guess him for C, fewest. Probably a season away in Philly and Chicago though.
  • Ironman92
Torii fell 160 hits short on Tigers
  • Ironman92
I think Thome had more career hits than the fewest...let me check....same type of player
  • Ironman92
Thome only did it with the Indians and does have more career hits than the player I came up with.
  • GOONx19
Are any of these answers active?
  • GOONx19
    Never mind, dumb question.
  • Ironman92
Answers to Part B and C they all overlapped careers pretty good and all had very long careers. One I consider one of the most underrated players of all-time.
  • Laley23
Jermaine dye? Did he get 500 in Oakland?
  • Ironman92
Jermaine Dye was the last person I checked....he did not get to 500 in Oakland

the answer has considerably more hits than Dye but a little less than Thome....way more similar to Thome, kind of a Thome a generation before
  • Laley23
    Reggie Jackson
  • Laley23
    Napoleon Lajoie for most?
