Reds at Tigers....Game 1

  • Ironman92
Young pitcher Moscot got Cabrera to bounce back to him and Gose was hung up but Moscot full extension dive to get him and just blew his shoulder all to hell. Wasn't sure he was going to make it off the field without passing out.

For the third consecutive game, J.D. Martinez homered and for the fourth consecutive game, Miguel Cabrera drove in a run and the Tigers win against the Reds led by Anibal Sanchez who pitched his first shutout since 2013.

Of Martinez's 13 home runs this year, 10 have gone to centerfield or right field. (worthless stat that some might be interested in)

    Go Reds!

    :-)

Was at the game tonight. Felt bad for my dad who's a huge Reds fan, that team is just god awful. 5-9 hitters were .220 or worse and they failed to hit a single ball hard at all. Just not a fun team to watch at all

It's baseball of course they can have a good game. Let's see how they do against Price and Verlander

Why would anyone be worried about Verlander at this stage of his career? In 2013, he fell from great to decent. In 2014, he fell from decent to blah. So far, he's pitched a whopping five innings this year. He could still pitch a gem against them (if Kate takes the Reds out of their game mentality by offering free motorboats all day before the game), but he's nowhere near the ace he used to be.

    Yeah...still up watching

Well they won against Price. Now let's see how they do against Verlander and his five innings pitched so far!!

It's fun watching Classy acting like the barely-above-500 Tigers are some force of nature to be reckoned with even though they've sucked for about a month. Especially when they lose right after his "O_0 u better watch out haha we literally are pitching Price and Verlander honest" spiel.

Would be near the top if the Reds weren't so God awful.
  • Ironman92
    OPS up to 1.000

@FOX19Jeremy: David Price still ticked about #ASG voting. Said Todd Frazier absolutely needs to start. "His numbers. He's the homeboy." #Reds #AllStarNow
  • gerb131
And they sit Frazier makes total sense.

Price must've learned that move from Dusty. He was notorious for sitting a hot player.
  • Ironman92
Frazier hottest hitter on the planet....sits, at home.

Bruce goes 5 for effing 6 and sits? I hope Bruce goes 0 his next 30 and they fire Price.

Cannot defend both of those moves.
  • Terry_Tate
Price just wanted to troll everyone since he knew the rain was coming.
