  Why not the Cards, if you are out of it for this season? You only trade him if you are out of it, and he'd only be a "rent a player" for the rest of the season for some one, then be on the open market, so if the Cards offer the best of the little bits, why not? If the Reds held onto him, would they get a draft pick if they keep him all season, and of course pay his salary all season?

  Thought I head a trivia thing a few weeks ago about the last time the reds and cardinals made a trade with each other.....and how many in history.

  They wouldnt trade him to St Louis. ONLY way I would be OK with it is if the reds absolutely raped the cards in a deal that was way to good to pass up and I dont see the Cards doing that.
