Not smart enough to embed the gif from my phone but there you go. -

Your argument is fucked, so you pick one qb to try and get people to not think dalton sucks. Got it.Azubuike24;1763793 wrote:Not really, because I just don't understand the idea that there is any confidence in a Carson Palmer led team in the post-season. Based on what? The guy has been ridiculed for not being clutch or avoiding the choke play his whole career.
This isn't really a Dalton debate at all. -
Azubuike24It's not even about Dalton!
I'd love to hear an argument on why people should be confident about Carson Palmer. Give me something? What has he ever done? -

Who the fuck cares about Carson? The cardinals are not even relevant to this discussionAzubuike24;1763866 wrote:It's not even about Dalton!

You must've missed the last page. I posted that the Cardinals are good, not great, because...Carson. That's what started it all. He and the Cardinals are exactly what the discussion was about. I've yet to see anything that says otherwise, other than posters saying "I'm wrong."DeyDurkie5;1763876 wrote:Who the fuck cares about Carson? The cardinals are not even relevant to this discussion -
Commander of AwesomeAzu, you started the whole Palmer debating COMPARING him to Dalton numbnuts. Now you're trying to say it's not about Dalton? LOL
-
friendfromlowryI'm not overwhelmingly confident in Palmer but he and the Cardinals are playing well in a conference that seems to be trending down.

But you still couldn't resist to bring him up. LOLAzubuike24;1763866 wrote:It's not even about Dalton!

I was specifically talking about the comments I was called out for. Last night about Arizona. It simply said they can't be considered great with Palmer as their QB. Of course this thread is littered with my random Dalton comments. I've been a Dalton supporter since day 1...and have taken shit on here about it for years.Commander of Awesome;1763886 wrote:Azu, you started the whole Palmer debating COMPARING him to Dalton numbnuts. As a former Bengal QB and current Bengal QB, Palmer and Dalton are always going to be compared.like_that;1763897 wrote:But you still couldn't resist to bring him up. LOL
I'll let it go for a while though. We'll let the season play out. Lots of football left. -

I think it's funnier that dalton was actually offended by that.BR1986FB;1764061 wrote:Red Ryder BB Gun.....LOL -

When I first saw the headline on Yahoo I was laughing my ass off because I thought someone had finally called Dalton "Scut Farkus" from "A Christmas Story" but then saw the story and realized he was poking fun at the Red Rifle nickname.like_that;1764063 wrote:I think it's funnier that dalton was actually offended by that. -

We all do from time to time. I remember being super-pumped because the Steelers drafted Limas Sweed that one year. That...did not work out so well.BR1986FB;1764145 wrote:Cowboys released Brandon Weeden.....man I whiffed on that one. LOL -

Yeah, but we (Browns fans) get pumped up about certain players that bust more often than not.Heretic;1764159 wrote:We all do from time to time. I remember being super-pumped because the Steelers drafted Limas Sweed that one year. That...did not work out so well. -

Considering the overwhelming majority of picks in the last 15 years have had disappointing tenures in Cleveland, we've got to get a pass for allowing ourselves to get excited over a bust every once in a while.BR1986FB;1764173 wrote:Yeah, but we (Browns fans) get pumped up about certain players that bust more often than not. -

Yeah, it seems like the Browns have a "Limas Sweed" every year. The Steelers can get away with that shit because they have talent and they can develop guys like that (didn't pan out in Sweed's case). The Browns, with their lack of talent, have to throw these guys into the fire immediately and they have to make an impact, or they cut bait with them eventually. Teams like Pittsburgh and (previously) Baltimore often times have the luxury of being able to take players that they don't necessarily need to strengthen their depth.GOONx19;1764180 wrote:Considering the overwhelming majority of picks in the last 15 years have had disappointing tenures in Cleveland, we've got to get a pass for allowing ourselves to get excited over a bust every once in a while. -

Adam Schefter ‏@AdamSchefter 5h5 hours ago For first time this spring, NFL expected to allow teams to begin trading compensatory draft picks, per NFL sources. Should be more trades.
