Prayers for Johnny

  • Tiernan
No matter what you think of Johnny Manzier as a QB, now is the time to put all the negativity behind us as a fellow human being is going thru drug & alcohol rehab to hopefully improve his life. If only his buddy Josh Gordon will take inspiration from Johnny and hopefully gets his life turned around too. Prayers for both these young men going thru difficult times.

Are you being serious??? Yes I hope he and Josh get the help they need but there are 1000's of people that have bigger issues then these two clowns but yet we need to give them prayers...Come on if any of us did our job like these two did this year we would be fired.

That's a nice post Tiernan. I have a lot of sympathy for this because I'm a recovering alcoholic. If he desires to help himself - you are absolutely right, it supersedes football. Regardless of his potential as a quarterback for the Browns, I wish him well - along with others who are sick and suffering from addiction.

No disrespect but did you two just fall off a turnip truck? Tiernan's "sympathy" isn't genuine. He'd just assume Manziel die in a dumpster fire. He can't stand him.

And Winston, keep fighting the good fight. Not making light of your situation but Tiernan's hardly sympathetic to this.

Tiernam may have been brutal to JM, but from one addict to another he probably genuinely feels bad for him.

To be clear I want JM to get the help he needs...but it is crazy how many chances some get and for what so the GM does not look like he completely wasted a pick? They wasted that pick as soon as he used it...

Except Tiernan's a pathological liar who garners no sympathy from me.

Hope this rehab stint helps JFF turn his life around.

lol. Yes, he is in rehab so the GM doesn't look bad.

Not as crazy as you think.

Farmer is a 100% complete joke whether Johnny is in rehab or not. He will thankfully be looking for a new job after next season anyway.

It is definitely as crazy a thought as I think

Thank you Tiernan for this very magnanimous gesture. We need your prayers here in Cleveland because God currently hates us.

I didn't say it was impossible, I said it was a crazy thought.

Because the truth has never turned out to be crazy...

If johnny is the competitor that many think he is...he will make a lot of critics eatvshit before it,s all said and done. There is not one thingbWilson can do physically or mentally better than Manziel. Not one.

    The 7 quarter clubbers
that have labeled him a bust will watch and learn...provided Manziel stays the course.

you have to be joking. Manziel does not have the brain power or work ethic of Wilson.

Work ethic? Not yet. In my post I talk about Manziel's competitive nature. If he is the competitor that many think he is hE will change his ways in order to serve a pile of STFU to all his critics. He took the first step last Wednesday. As for brain power, Wilson has NOTHING over Johhny.

I LMAO at al the know-it-alls that have labeled him a bust after 7 friggin quarters. He wasn't nearly as bad as these know-it-alls labeled him. Wayyyyy too many dropped passes in the Cincy game.

We know you're bad at math. Now you are unaware that throwing a football more accurately than someone else is a physical act?

Work ethic if needed to be taught in the NFL will never last. Manziel will/is a bust.
