    WOuld you buy?

Brewers are selling 1000 tickets at 1K a piece and can be used one time, any time in the future.

WOuld you get this for your favorite team?
  • Ironman92
    No
  • Laley23
Hell no. What could any team ever host that would be worth 1k???
  • thavoice
    World series?
  • like_that
No, I am sure you could get world series tickets for less than that.
  • Lovejoy1984
    Possibly.

Only if transferable to others. Because in 30-40 years who knows what the going rate for a WS game might be.
  • HitsRus
^^^^If there even is a World Series as we know it.

    Yeah, probably so.
I am assuming the seat would be a prime seat.

Of course, from the OC only Sleeper would be able to throw $$ around like this.

in 30-40 years you wont want to watch any sport even not on TV lol

And in no way is a WS ticket worth 1k. I wouldnt pay 1k for the SB even if my team was in it.

Only thing I can think of is USA in the WC Finals.

I wouldn't do it for the Browns either, because they are never going to make it unfortunately. I am with you on the WC. It seems like this is a deal that businesses would take advantage of though.

You hate soccer? You haven't mentioned it on this site before

Cubs fans for a home game 7, Browns fans Super Bowl (Bengals fans would likely bandwagon up if they made another) ...maybe Knicks fans for a home game 7

I'm going to pay out the ass for ASG festivities this July at GABP. To me it's a once in a lifetime thing and I know the Reds know how to do these type of things with great class......but am pretty sure I'll be nicely under $1,000 per person for multiple days and several activities.

If the Browns ever make the Super Bowl, I'd rather be in downtown Cleveland than at the game thousands of miles away.

    This.

I always said I am booking a flight to cleveland if they ever made the SB.

Me too. Have already told my wife. And hell no would I ever pay $1000 for a baseball game. My buddies did pay $700 for the buckeyes game this past week though so one of them might.

There's the link. It actually includes tickets to nine other games. Doesn't specify to which games and where the seats are, but that kind of eats into the cost a bit. They've found 200+ suckers to go in on the deal so far.
  • sleeper
I might buy one just for the novelty of it.
  • Laley23
The 9 other games kind of lessens the cost to around $750 (average price is about $25 to a Brewers game). And if you get great seats, even lower on the overall price, as you are getting an above average priced ticket.

Yeah, that would probably be more fun.
Buddy of mine went to the steelers SB in detroit and then the next time against Az went to pittsburgh to watch it and said he had much more fun there than at the game.

It depends. Do you pick when and WHERE you sit?

I bet that Marlins fan who attended all WS games will buy one of these tickets.
