My dad was at this game.
  • BRF
^^^ He should be interviewed by the Cleveland news channels!
  • mhs95_06
Replays on TV were very new. Before then if you missed it live, you missed it, just like being at the game. My dad and I watched it and couldn't wait to see the "isolated camera" on how Collins beat his defender on each TD.
  • BRF
I love looking at that roster.

LOL at Walter "the flea" Roberts. I was there and honestly I thought it was colder than that. Mom and dad had just bought themselves a new hi-fi stereo for Christmas and I went home and listened to the radio broadcast that was replayed that evening. Gib's calls were chilling. "Pitch to Jim Brown...he's the fifty...he's to the 40. he's to the 30, he's tripped up at the 19 yard line.

I remember the play like it was yesterday. Browns were going to the closed end and either Bobby Boyd or Jenny Lyles shoe string tackled Jimmy just as he cutting across the field on the infield dirt. It was right in front of us we sat on the 25 yard line (behind the first base dugout) That led to Ryan's first TD pass to Collins giving the Browns a 10 zip lead.

In the Akron paper today, the FRONT PAGE headline was the reference to that game. In the article it said the Colts averaged 31 points a game and gave up 17 points per game. That is unreal.

My dad. my brother and I went to every home game that year. Funny that the only other game that I remember was when Jim Bakkin kicked a field goal at the gun giving the Cardinals a 33-33 tie.

    ^^^^ Great stories!

Jim Bakken......hadn't heard nor thought about him in a long time.

So let me get this straight the 3 biggest tools in the entire NFL go to a dope smokin' stripper party and can't answer the bell for a morning meeting even tho they all know they are under more scrutiny than any other players on the team...yeah these fkg turds are an embarrassment to a fkg team that really has discovered new depths of embarrassment over the past 50 years.

Uh...don't think so Wedgie, and btw with your credibility around here lately I'd keep my mouth shut and lay low for awhile. I'm the new sheriff in OC Town entering 2015.

Sweatshirts are flying off the racks this year with the caption reading. " just one, before I die". In our case "just one more before we die".

I like vball too but the guy is bipolar. Had no problem with him but all of a sudden he takes a few attacks at me out of nowhere.

So I take a few shots back at him and rustle his feathers (which is easy to do). Oh well

Im not bipolar..when you take shots at me I take shots back.

At least you are bipolar and not straight depressed like everyone else in Toledo. Must be nice to have some "good days" when living in that shithole of a place.

actually, I only react to your shots, not initiate them...but hey, one of you already knew that ;)

Bullshit. In an ohio state thread you took a random out of nowhere shot at me. You saw my above comment, I like you as a poster and wouldn't waste my time making fun of you/Toledo if I wasn't provoked first.

I'm not going to go look it up but you know what I'm talking about.
