Tell Me Again...How Much More $$$ Does Johnny Manzier make than Hoyer?

The Browns are 6-4 with the 20th ranked quarterback in the league...just imagine where they would be if they were playing a perennial pro bowler at q'back..thavoice;1675451 wrote:Just love how a 6-4 season, for the BROWNS mind you, is considered ruined by you. -
HitsRus^^^That's a assumption that can't be proved. Moreover your assumption that Manziel would complete the same % as college is even more flawed logically.
I want to see how the offense runs with Gordon in there, instead of only the no names that Hoyer has had to throw to all season. Do you honestly think we lost that game because of Hoyer? If that's the case, you and Josh Gordon are peas in a pod. -
TiernanI agree Manzier deserves a shot...

As was previously mentioned, the addition of Gordon should do a lot more for this offense than just opening up the passing game.
Teams are going to have to game plan much differently for the Browns than just "stacking the box and taking away the run." Safeties aren't going to be able to cheat up anticipating "run first." They are going to have to play back a little to give the corners assistance in the vertical game.
Now it's Hoyer's job to make sure he hits on those deeper routes to keep the safeties honest. -
DeyDurkie5Hoyer is a loser with a 55% completion percentage but had his team in first place at the midway point. Footwedge logic strikes again

Prove this. Thanks.Footwedge;1675456 wrote:And would be 8-2 with the better quarterback running the team. We wouldn't be talking about the slim chances of sneaking into the playoffs....but instead talking about home field throughout. -

Maybe Manziel doesn't complete 69% of his passes. but he damn sure will do better than 55%...the LOWEST in the league. And these "no name" receivers lead the league in fewest drops. What most people see is Hoyer's horrible accuracy to WIDE OPEN receivers. And I see you didn't comment on Hoyer's lack of mobility either. Hoyer is LAST in the league in rushing yards for quarterbacks.HitsRus;1675462 wrote:^^^That's a assumption that can't be proved. Go ahead and play Wayne Kirby..I want to see Manny Ramirez...and so do the new 12000 new season tix holders that are getting screwed by Kojak. -

FootwedgeI LMAO at all the Manziel naysayers. So I ask this....did any of you Hoyer knob polishers ever watch Manziel play in college? Even one time? My guess would be...never did.

Gordon or no Gordon...the defenses will employ the exact same game scheme. Stack the box, stop the run, and force the lead footed, inaccurate passer to try to beat them. Sure, they will give up some plays. But it's the winning formula. This offense would be too much to handle with Manziel running things.BR1986FB;1675466 wrote:Hoyer & Gordon did well together last year.

I did. Manziel will start. Just not this week and maybe not this year.Footwedge;1675519 wrote:I LMAO at all the Manziel naysayers. So I ask this....did any of you Hoyer knob polishers ever watch Manziel play in college? Even one time? My guess would be...never did. -
TiernanI watched the little fuck everytime he was on and thought he had incredible receivers that made his scrambling antics look amazing because they saved his ass so many times. I just kept hoping the Clowns would take him so I could hate on them both at the same time. So that happens and then God damn Cleveburgh never lets the little shit in. His weak arm would be exposed in two games if he even survived from being crushed anytime he tried to outrun NFL speed DL.

I bought you a hoyer jersey with the 100 you paid me. It's in the mail.Footwedge;1675516 wrote:Now you've got it Dorkie. -

uhhh....no.
I did comment on his mobility, and he seems pretty good on eluding the rush, he just throws it instead of taking off for a positive gain. I noted this as a criticism.(see post#14) So, no, I'm not a Hoyer nut hugger....just an objective observer...one who also notes that very few rookies have come into the league and have any kind of consistency. And I see you didn't comment on Hoyer's lack of mobility either. Hoyer is LAST in the league in rushing yards for quarterbacks. -

LOL. Yes they definitely will. That's how you beat a team with a very mediocre quarterback. Will Gordon do his thing? Yup. But that's the way you beat the Browns. Just ask Houston and Jax.HitsRus;1675587 wrote:uhhh....no.

Tell you what Dorkie...I'll play you double or nothing that J Football will complete 62% of his passes...or more...his first full season...whether it's with us...Dallas...or whoever. Too many people here think he can't throw the ball...as a rookie/first year guy. What I'm saying...they are all full of shit. And this team is being robbed of the opportunity to see a playoff team.DeyDurkie5;1675571 wrote:I bought you a hoyer jersey with the 100 you paid me. It's in the mail.
Somehow....the Hoyer knob polishers around here are AO-K with 55%...and that J Football would do no better. -
DeyDurkie5
I actually think that's true, so I won't be taking that bet. I am fine with whoever is in as long as we keep winning. I just can't stand seeing games like this past one and jacksonville. It's just not fun to watch.Footwedge;1675606 wrote:Tell you what Dorkie...I'll play you double or nothing that J Football will complete 62% of his passes...or more...his first full season...whether it's with us...Dallas...or whoever. The first time I watched "the little fuck" was on national TV when, as a 19 year old, he passed and ran right through the eventual national champs in Tuscaloosa. That defense from Bama had 7 shutouts over a 2 year period and had 8 (defensive) players drafted into the NFL. Manziel and company hung 29 points on them that day and another 42 on that defense the following year.Tiernan;1675542 wrote:I watched the little fuck everytime he was on and thought he had incredible receivers that made his scrambling antics look amazing because they saved his ass so many times. Today on the animal house Dustin Fox said Manziel is no RGIII when running. No he's not...he's better than RIII in running with the ball. -

TiernanYou're preaching to the choir Wedgie...nobody wants to see Mini-Me get in a game more than I do. Because when he does the chances of a Clown loss increases exponentially (...that means ALOT for all you NEO educated fucks).

sleeperI would trade Manziel for a 7th round draft pick.
