Exactly which is why I think he'll be playing somewhere else in 2015.

Yeah if he's looking for that kind of deal, see ya! One year doesn't make you a 100 million dollar QB. Now if he put 3 4 years in a row together like this year, it'd be different. If they can't reach a deal wonder of they tag him and let it play out in 15

I have been telling you this guy is a massive primadonna.
  • thavoice
All he does is win, and that has to be worth something.

But he doesnt put up great numbers to impress people. He is like a 12-5 pitcher who has a 4.50 ERA. Yeah, he wins but.........
    Cannot argue with the results.
and the bengals arent liking that contract right about now!

Hoyer is going to be 30 years old next year. This is as good as he is ever going to get.

No more committing big dollars to guys on the way down instead of those on the way up.

That's what we call "bait." I posted that specifically to see you whine.

Call it what you want, doesn't change the facts this guy's head might get stuck in the tunnel coming out for the game this week it has gotten so big.

HE's not getting a big deal anywhere. His contract as the reason is a dumb reason.

Again, DGAF about gossipy contract BS when the browns are 6-3 nd playing Houston. We're plaing Houston. You dont win games based on contracts to QB next season. This thread is about the GAME against Houston.

Hoyer could get a deal similar to Dalton.

Essentially all Daltons deal was, was a series of 1 year deals, with a 12m signing bonus, and 17m guaranteed overall

So it's definitely not outside the realm of possibility to see hoyer sign a 3/4 year deal worth 30-40m, with 17m guaranteed.

Hoyer is not getting a Dalton type deal with half a season under his belt. That's almost as dumb as the "Kevin Love might leave cleveland for a shitty lakers team next year!" talk after 5 games. Can we stop being fucking stupid on this thread? Quit feeding/baiting the dumb fuck old trolls and let's talk about the god damn game.

    Exactly. Screw those trolls.

I mentioned it before about how the browns love what I call the Tecmo Bowl bootleg and play action plays. I really could see JJWatt saying the hell with pursuing backside and go right after Hoyer on the boot play action and destroy him and maybe FW will get his wish with Manzier/

I'll be very curious to see if the Browns can continue to run the ball, against a pretty solid Texans Def. We ran the ball well first few games, then looked like the Browns were a college team trying to run the ball against an NFL team.

Wish we had Gordon back, as they have a shitty secondary and think he would torch them.

I'll be there, my GF got me tickets. I'm currently 3-0 in Browns home games this year. Go Browns!

Didnt that pretty much coincide with Mack going down? The center on many teams, and assuming Clev as well, make the blocking calls and it wouldnt be the first time an OL went to shit after the center goes down.

Even after Mack went down, the Browns gashed the steelers front 7. It is a bit confusing to me how the Steelers are near the top 10 in rush defense. Out of all the teams the browns have played, I would place the Steelers as the worst rush defense they have seen.

22nd in YPC at 4.4 and yeah...that seems about right. Going on history, teams havent been able to run so I imagine they have tried a bit less.

Don't the Texans have to sell out early to keep Cleveland from running amuck? Often when running teams come out and do what they do it sometimes falls apart if the opponent holds them to punting and scores a few early touchdowns. I don't know that Shanahan would get impatient and go from the game plan.

I would come out with some short and safe passes, mix in the run and toss one deep in the first 10 plays and again later if needed.

Good running teams don't succeed by running when it's an obvious run.

Nothing could help the Browns pursuit of a Super Bowl more than JJ Watt eschewing the left tackle play action and make a bee line for Hoyer's noggin.

    ^ awesome lol

    Thank god. POS.

As far as the center play, has anyone heard McDonald's status? I heard he left the Bengals facility in a walking boot after Thursday's game.

LOL....Fuck you Cincinnati pieces of shit (this popped up at the bottom of my Yahoo feed).....

Forget wildcards, this is the division title we are talking about. Currently, the Cleveland Browns are in the drivers' seat. I am positive this will not last. The Browns are like your eight-year-old kid. They like to sit on your lap and steer, and may even back the car out of the driveway on their own sometimes. But once on the road, it doesn't end well. Much like Cleveland "driving" this division. The Browns are the cruel joke to the city of Cleveland and they always deliver.

Got their asses handed to them and their fans are still talking shit.

The best part, is that the dumbass puts all that, it is a Cincy website, and in his poll the fans voted the Browns by 52% to win the division (the Steelers were next with 20%...Bengals last a 13%).

Read precautionary, should be good to go.
