Steelers @ Ravens

Ironman92Big early game for Baltimore IMO. Need to hold suit at home and already lost to Bengals.
I say this will be a tough game for the Steelers, crowd noise O-line penalties and some Ike Taylor burnings. Personally I don't have high expectations so hopefully I can enjoy this game. I prefer a blowout as opposed to a tight loss.
I assume the Ravens will win 23-17 or something.....IF the Ravens lose they will not be in the playoffs....and I never say crap like that early in the season.
Hopefully Polamalu makes a play or two tonight. -

Also look for the ravens to win tonite. I look for them to throw early, and throw often and use the quick passing game to systematically pick the defense apart.Ironman92;1653127 wrote:Big early game for Baltimore IMO. Need to hold suit at home and already lost to Bengals.

How close it gets will depend on how Ben can communicate in the hurry up and how well they get the doobie bros running the ball. -
Heretic
Problem is that Pittsburgh and Baltimore tend to always play close, so it'll either be a tight loss or a tight win. It will be interesting. The second half of last week did show a lot of pass defense weakness, although the no-huddle probably caused some of that, as well as complacency leading to the momentum shift. Pittsburgh will need their defense to play better, as they should win as long as they don't let Joe "I'm a superstar QB...no, really I am...MOM, WHY IS EVERYONE LAUGHING AT ME...you too, mom?" Flacco get comfortable so he actually has a star-level performance.Ironman92;1653127 wrote:Big early game for Baltimore IMO. Need to hold suit at home and already lost to Bengals.

Ironman92Pittsburgh causing an effing turnover or two would be wonderful. Get to the QB and catch the should be interception.

I would too with you but fear about 6 unbelievable touch passes down the field for an exciting win.Commander of Awesome;1653161 wrote:Anytime I get down or sad, I look at Flacco's contract and -
Ironman92Damn...Ben got free and then got smoked. Called immediately ....not a big fan of the call but enjoy the 1st down.
-

I'm sorry, but that was one of the worst calls I have ever seen. -
Ironman92Bell seems so much more athletic being down 20

Ironman92Simms doesn't like the Steelers but said it was a text book call by rule....but also he is a former QB
-
Ironman92Ben got clobbered and Brown has been drilled twice and is on the sidelines.
Ravens coming out all Rice like. -
Ironman92SMH.....down to the 20 and the back up receiver fumbles with little reason.
Pittsburgh needs to keep up with whatever the offense gives away..... That receiver should be benched the rest of the half.
Ravens winning the fight with some big 1st round blows. -

@KirkHerbstreit: Roughing the passer?!?! What?!?!!? I don't care who wins, but that's sad if that's a flag!
Also...
@YahooForde: If the hit on Big Ben is illegal, then it's a bad rule. Gotta be able to hit a QB in the chest, my gosh. -
Ironman92Brown headed to the locker room.
Karma getting him -

I'm good man....football play, just prefer the other team to deliver it.wildcats20;1653191 wrote:Another former QB

Ironman92No one on Pittsburgh can make the initial tackle, no pressure....yuck

Ironman92Damnit

iclfan2How on earth was there a call for helmet to chest? I see you guys already talked about it, but how freaking stupid. Also, ironic that Brown went out after his flagrant kick last week.
