  Now Jim Day backs off what he said Jockety indicated about the players and next year to now say they'll contribute in the next 2-3 years. Still wondering bats or arms.

  Negron needs to be in the lineup 5-6 days of the week next year. If that means a guy like Cozy becomes a bench player, so be it.

  Marte with a great play to hold Hannahan to a single on a play, if not made, could have been a 2 out triple. Maybe because there were 2 outs and the difference between a triple and a double is not near what it would be with none or one out, but the difference in a single and a double or triple with two out is very great, and due to that is why he went after the ball along the side wall so aggressively. Great play with mind and body!

  Not so fast! How about 5 days a week this Sept, then be on the roster next year, playing 1-2 days a week if there are no injuries to starting infielders, unless they trade BP, ZC, or TF?
