I see everyone is afraid to start the game thread today because it is a guaranteed loss after that fucking abortion of a DH yesterday and last night.
So, I will man up and put my 11-5 (soon to be 11-6) record on the line for tonight's loss at the Cardinals. I think Mr Leake is taking the hill tonight. The kid is one of my favorite pitchers to watch work a game.
With that said, if I was a gambling man I would say put as much as you could on the Cards tonight...no way this team sniffs a win. Read a few minutes ago that of the 19 teams still officially in contention the Red STockings' opponents have the highest winning percentage the rest of the way.
