Reds vs Red Sox...Game 1
-
Ironman92
-
wildcats20Kind of wish Negron was in there, but I like it.
-
Ironman92Yeah....even though the hits haven't tallied for Negron for a few games, he's still having good AB's mostly and his range is greater.
Santiago has been solid for the Reds. -
mhs95_06Do you think Ortiz would have been called out on the same pitch that Nava was for the 3rd out in the 1st?
-
gport_tennisCozart grounds out to the SS 75% of the time
-
mhs95_06
And sometimes they get 2 outs when he hits it to SS!gport_tennis;1643572 wrote:Cozart grounds out to the SS 75% of the time -
gport_tennisCozart grounds out to the shortstop at least 75% of the time
-
RotinajCozart grounds out to the Sstop at least 75% of the time.
-
Ironman92Huge pitch count for Kelly and that's with Pena and Cozart both hitting 1st pitch double plays.
-
Ironman92Meso rocking
3 for 3 -
wildcats20Strong like bull.
Jesus. -
Midstate01Chapman should have been used..
-
mhs95_06Failure to add on and a gopher ball and the Reds trail!
-
SportsAndLadyFuck I get on the subway up 2-1 check when I'm off and it's 3-2
-
mhs95_06
I think Chapman would have been easier for Yoenis to solve than Broxton!Midstate01;1643598 wrote:Chapman should have been used.. -
Ironman92Broxton has been around how long? Too fucking macho. When you sail a fastball at a big guy's noggin (intentional or not)...you got his attention and he's pissed and he wants to show you ASAP. The next pitch cannot be a fastball and especially down the middle.
He murdered that ball and I tip my cap to him. He would've swung out of his shoes on a curve.
Terrible pitching. Just effing terrible.
I hear by promote Jumbo ahead of Brox. -
Ironman92
Had he not made Stanton look human...I'd agreemhs95_06;1643602 wrote:I think Chapman would have been easier for Yoenis to solve than Broxton! -
wildcats20I was just about to say, I would have rather seen Jumbo in that situation.
-
wildcats20Out.
But he'll be safe. -
Midstate01I'm pretty sure you don't solve Chapman. You guess and hope.
-
mhs95_06
I disagree -- some hitters look locked on to him, and Cespedes looks like he'd be one!Midstate01;1643608 wrote:I'm pretty sure you don't solve Chapman. You guess and hope. -
mhs95_061st pitch to Santiago was a make-up for the 3rd strike he didn't call on Heisey.
-
mhs95_06Cozart got too far under the splitter for the final out. From the time the Reds were up 2 with 2 on and none out in the first, they made 27 outs without denting the plate again, and there in lies the major reason for the loss.
-
Ironman92
I'd worry more about Napoli vs Chappymhs95_06;1643612 wrote:I disagree -- some hitters look locked on to him, and Cespedes looks like he'd be one! -
Ironman92Cozart cannot be in line for the last out of a close game....just can't. Had Luddy in the pitcher 'a spot. How'd that work. Let Luddy try to double in Heisey and bat Leake to go extra innings or Hannahannnahannahan for the lulz.
I get so tired of managers not wanting to hurt players feelz
