Taking my 8-3 record and putting it on the line in tonites.....Titanic Struggle.

Reds win this one IF the umps once again award them a run on a BS call at home plate, but if they dont get such a call they get blanked tonite.

Min of 3 days for that list (his grandpa died) and he can come back tonite.

Still irks me that Meseraco sits when JC is pitching. Especially now with how awful this offense is.

..and btw....if by the Grace of God/Allah/Muhammid/Buddha/Jeebus and Zeus that the reds get another gift from the rules and end up winning this game someone else will have to start a thread tomorrow......

Did the Fish manager get tossed for arguing?
In the yahoo link where he and the brass of the marlins bash the call last night it says he was, but i know marty last night was saying he couldnt believe that Redmond did not get tossed.

Pena and Meso need to be in the lineup everyday

That ball Ludwick was fair. No way it was foul.
  • mhs95_06
Bruce with his best offensive inning in a while with him getting to 3rd with none out and avoiding a DP on the liner by Ludwick, but his baserunning was to no avail as both Meso and Ludwick failed to get him in with less than two out, as Jay had saved the DP for the 3rd out, but then Skip couldn't capitalize with a 2 out RBI -- a shame to get none further after 1st and 3rd with none out.

No angle they gave showed anything either way

It's not reviewable so it doesn't really matter. But there is no way that ball was foul.

    Latos doesn't look great

Silly not to have a more conclusive angle
  • wildcats20
    That was a strike.
  • Ironman92
Yep.... Knew it, Latos blows his top
  • wildcats20
    Out.
  • Ironman92
    He's out
  • wildcats20
    That was a ginormous cluster.

But pretty clear that he's out. So that will save Latos.
