Reds @ Giants...Game 3

Joey looks really bad going into 3rd! Slows way down to slide(would have been out if the P chose to throw there), and can't even slide to the outside of the base and clips Sandoval with his foot).

Get a damn run and go for the sweep tomorrow
You skipped a step! Get a run, get them out in the bottom of the inning, then go for the sweep.

    Pour it on baby

Bad call to K Santiago, then a gigantic couple of 2 out RBI by Cozart, then 2 more RBI by Heisey on an opposite field triple, then another on a solid knock by Billy! Breathing starting to get easier!

Jumbo in to finish it out, with Ondruzek waiting to try and bail him out if needed.

BP's heel handicapping him on balls hit to his right! Reds prevail in the game of attrition as the trailing Giants make the final out on an AB by a relief pitcher. Great, great game. That extra inning they got out of Simon due to the terrible looking strike em out, throw em out DP when Cozart took the pitch hoping for ball four was big, and Cozart made up for it with the big two 2 out, leading taking, RBI hit in the game winning inning, along with solid SS defense.

That AB by Pablo in the 9th was one of the most impressive at bats I have ever seen

Yes it was! Just before it Marty Brennaman was raving about the BP 2 run HR AB. The only good part of BP's AB was after he gave away 2 strikes to the low outside breaking balls to be in the 0-2 hole. If Brandon would have that kind of focus and approach starting from 0-0, he would be a great hitter!

Chapman's streak of consecutive relief appearances with at least one strike-out continues on his 31st pitch.

And the Reds tie an all time MLB record for lowest percentage of balls in the outfield that resulted in a put-out or assist for an outfielder!

Was Schumaker unavailable tonight due to injury or illness, or was Price pulling a "Dusty" holding him back for the 15th inning? I was surprised he didn't hit when Santiago did.

From that record of no outs or assists recorded by the Reds outfielders in this game, are we to conclude they all are slow with weak arms?
