How nice would Kazmir's 9 wins look at the 5th starter spot right now? We'd be on our way to 90 wins instead of 80 most likely.

Crazy how Vegas is able to extrapolate team wins/losses like they are based on guys you add/subtract. We were a 90+ win team last year. MLB teams should look into hiring those guys who set the lines like that. Clearly they know what the hell they are doing.

^^^I can't figure out why they(The Tribe) sign these guys to rehab contracts without getting an option year. You can necver have enough pitching, and the Tribe let him walk.

The series went about as I expected. Great job by Tomlin yesterday...Nice job by House today.

I see the stats etc etc, I just don't know why nobody swings the bat against this guy. fastballs away, change ups down in the zone. he threw that way the whole game. yet everyone tried to work the count against a guy who walks just about no one and throws 70% strikes. it makes no sense to me why no one tries to be aggressive against someone like that.

When you do that you end up giving him 4 or 5 pitch innings. He rarely makes any mistakes. If you swing early, you are swinging at his pitch. Today was his 9th straight start where he has gone more than 7 innings and he hasn't allowed more than 2 earned runs in any of them. He has been about as flawless as you can be.

Old timers will remember Bob Gibson. Felix looks exactly like him with his rock, kick, delivery and follow through. Spitting image in fact. Gibby's follow through pulled him just a little more towards first base though. Felix has a long way to go to match Gibson's career.

meh on the Tribe right now, and unless they acquire some offense for the second half, meh on them the rest of the season

I wouldn't give up on them yet... but they are going to have to put everything together if they are going to contend.

    some keys to a rebound....

Cut out the errors....the team leads the majors in errors at 68.

Swisher needs to get on a hot streak and play like he did in August and September. I think part of it is that he has to learn to beat the shift when he is batting left handed.

Masterson needs to return to form. Masterson has not been the same since is injury last year. Knee or not..he needs to get his velocity back up. ...that may be part of his control issues.

Tribe needs to find at least one other solid starter.

Get rid of the dead weight on the roster. You know who I mean.

I'm not giving up on them, I'm just feeling apathetic about them right now. However, you make some good points--and I know exactly who you mean.

Wow. How did you do that? Didn't remember Gibby holding his mitt up there like that.

Masty gets a 3 run lead and promptly gives up a 2 run dinger in the bottom of the 1st, and then Swisher drops an easy throw to first that would have been the 3rd out....and then Masty walks the next batter...and the next batter ..and the inning continues..

^^^ He was no slouch at the plate, either.
