Stream is pretty far behind my TV. About 2-3 plays. -
devil1197I'd almost keep Mangini if it mean't keeping Ryan
-

Yeah I'm definitely on board with Ryan. There's been a few bad weeks but he's done a pretty good job making something out of basically nothing. I mean come on, Mike Furrey!devil1197 wrote: I'd almost keep Mangini if it mean't keeping Ryan -
pkebkerThe one black mark on Ryan this season was the Detroit game...that was embarrassing...other than that, the Defense has played way above expectations
-
wes_mantoothCount me in on the "lets keep Ryan" train.
-
MulvaWhat a fucking run.
-
wes_mantoothGreatest 11 yard run since tecmo bowl bo jackson back in the day.
-
Mr. 300Whoops, stepped out.
-
devil1197Harrison bout to break a hundy.
-
pkebkerThat run was incredible...GO FOR IT!! 4 & 1, with the way we've been running! GO FOR IT!
-
Mr. 300Super Bowl 2011!!!!!!!

Bout the only thing I agree with you on.Mr. 300 wrote: Super Bowl 2011!!!!!!! -
september63Count me as turning around on Mangini. Its not just 4 wins against shaky competition. These guys are playing hard for him. It seems they have bought into his ideas. If its good enough for the players, Id bring him back another year.
-
iclfan2What makes me mad about Mangini was how did it take this long to figure out Jerome Harrison was good. Crennel black balled him too. Also, these past four games show we need a competent QB badly. I like Ryan and hope he stays. If Holmgren can bring in a veteran coach I'm game, but otherwise I'd rather have Mangini for one more year then a another rookie coordinator to head coach hire.

Exactly, I won't be mad if he brings in a veteran coach but what veteran coach will want to be controlled?iclfan2 wrote: What makes me mad about Mangini was how did it take this long to figure out Jerome Harrison was good. Mangini has the team winning, whether it be them fighting for a spot or for the coach, all it comes down to is that their winning. -
Gobuckeyes1This is a totally different team than six weeks ago. Mangini jettisoned the riff raff and has guys on the field that play hard and want to be here. And they are doing it with Derek f'ing Anderson at QB. Jax knows they are going to run, and they are doing it anyway...there is some fire and attitude going on right now that I think can carry over into the offseason.
This is hard to believe, but I might actually be a little upset if Holmgren fires Mangini. Not terribly upset, but I'm seeing a lot of good things over the past few weeks and it would be a shame to tear it up and start over again.
Oh, and Jennings looked like Jim Brown on that crazy run. Can't believe he only got 10 yards... -
devil1197GoBuckeyes, the only way I'll be upset is if Holmgren brings in a nobody OC/DC type guy.
If you watch closely, the Alex Mack selection is looking like a very good 1st round pick for Cleveland. The guy has been great recently. And its an even better pick because if we didn't select him he'd be wearing black and yellow right now. -
derek bomarIf they fire Mangini Im gonna be pissed. This team looks good and they are doing it with derek anderson, jerome harrison, and scrubs at wideout...and no superstars on D. We have a white wideout playing db ffs. Keep him. Lets see how the draft goes.

september63Harrison only got his chance this year when Lewis went down. Do you think Mangini worried by benching Lewis, if he had, he might have lost the team? Was Lewis playing bc of money? Because he was a tenured veteran? Had Jamal Lewis not been injured, would we even be seeing Harrison get these carries?
-

I don't think he'd be seeing these carries if Lewis doesn't go down. What does it say about him that when he gets hurts, the team wins 3, possibly 4, straight games...september63 wrote: Harrison only got his chance this year when Lewis went down. I hear you...If they fire Mangini the replacement better be someone with a significantly better resume. I'm talking Super Bowl ring(s). None of this up and coming OC/DC crap. We've been doing that for 20 years, and it's part of the problem.devil1197 wrote: GoBuckeyes, the only way I'll be upset is if Holmgren brings in a nobody OC/DC type guy.
