Tribe vs Tigers (Series Thread)

Glory DaysEven though the first two games were close, it still felt like a shitty series. complete lack of offense. it almost feels like their stretch getting back to .500 was just a tease.
-
Laley23Jesus you guys give up quick and are back on as quickly when they win 4/5 lol
-
vball10setThey should thoroughly embarrassed by the way they played, AT HOME, against their division rival. Period.

HitsRusLooks like this might be a wide open division...reports of the Tigers death have been greatly exaggerated.

TBone14Miguel Cabrera is currently the greatest hitter on this or any other planet in the universe and has been for a handful of years. He and Victor are an incredible force right now.
That series was so Cleveland. Everybody was excited. Get their best crowds of the year and basically lay an egg for the weekend. The crowd on Saturday was the best crowd I have been apart of since Game 5 of the ALCS in 2007. When Bourn tied it up in the 9th that joint was rocking like old times. Disappointing and now a very tough West Coast road trip is looming. -
Laley23Someone make the next thread.
And Cabrera is better than Trout hitting the baseball. No doubt. -

Both are negative WAR defensive players...despite some of Trout's highlights. Trout is course going to steal more bases. I wouldn't say much better all around player. Cabrera has had multiple seasons of over .440 OBP, which is just absurd. Trout has more upside long term at this point just due to his age. If I were starting a team today and I got to choose them both based on where they are currently, you take Trout all day. But if I get to choose Trout at 22 or Miggy at 22...I would take Miggy.vball10set;1629143 wrote:...and Trout's a much better all around player. No doubt. -

Fair enough, but when I say all around I mean defensively as well, and Miggy isn't even in the same hemisphere as The Mick, Jr....give me TroutTBone14;1629162 wrote:Both are negative WAR defensive players...despite some of Trout's highlights. Laley23Trout makes highlight plays, but he isnt that great in CF, imo. Miggy is an abortion at 3rd, and not much better at 1B, however.

This. They get a large crowd and the team leaves them deflated. SMH. -
