I was grateful to meet him a few years back as he did an event on my ship to help people quit tobacco and chewing tobacco. RIP way too young to die.

Who cares? We don't know him and he has no affect on our lives. Stupid to post about it.

Actually not, if you could just get one person to stop using smokeless tobacco....and make others aware.
Jim Kelly, former QB of the Buffalo Bills is also battling oral cancer( last reports were of a recurrence), and former major league CF and Tampa Bay 3B coach, Brett Butler has fought the battle. It is never pretty. Smokeless is worse than cigarettes. If you are using it...STOP!

    Didn't see it, my fault.

Tony Gwynn is the best pure hitter since Ted Williams. The season he was chasing .400 (finished .394) was the strike season of 1994, he was batting .426 over the last 30 games they played that season. He was definitely close to being the first since Williams to hit .400 for a season, if not for the strike.

The insanely low number of strike outs each season was just plain stupid to show how good he really was.

Which was almost funny, but Morgan didn't die.

You probably don't GAF about Gwynn passing, right? I mean you weren't friends with him, so how could you care if he died?
