Same thing goes for Nike making the USMNT play with Nike balls in their tune-ups instead of the official adidas World Cup ball -- like EVERY other country plays with.

Im sure TV has something to say about it as well (makes the group stage last longer). But, typically in soccer, the MOST you will play is Sat-Tues-Sat/Sun, or Sun-Wed-Sat/Sun -
