He would have started for the USA in 2010. Also, I believe he got hurt in one of Italy's tune up games, so he probably would have started for us again in 2014. Karma is a bitch.Ytowngirlinfla;1628206 wrote:I don't know much about him to even know if he would have made the US team. I know he couldn't break in at United. That's about it. -
Laley23Rossi is pretty fucking good. Easily would start for the US. But, glad he got left off twice for Italy. Bitch.
As got Jurgens comments, also no issue. Especially when you look at the whole conversation. I don't even think he meant we can't win, it was more of a, for the sake of a US expression, "one game at a time, we aren't looking at the Super Bowl" type comment. He basically said it isn't realistic for us to think we will win the WC. We need to focus on the group stage, and if we get out of that group...with Portugal, Germany and Ghana...try to tell me we can't beat anyone left in the tournament.
If anything, he was saying we can win it more than can't. But dumbasses like Mike Wilbon now have the entire country thinking he doesn't believe. So retarded. -

He shouldn't have been left off in 2010. Lippi was too stubborn and stuck with the guys who won the 2006 WC. He was hurt for the euro cup and then got hurt before this WC. He had a good year in serie A, just bad luck with his injury.Laley23;1628217 wrote:Rossi is pretty fucking good. Easily would start for the US. But, glad he got left off twice for Italy. Bitch.

lhslep134I saw a brief interview with Howard the day after Wilbon blew up on JK, and Howard was basically like it's no big deal and that it was a motivational thing (and I'm sure a focus thing as Laley alluded to).

wildcats20Italians have to beat Uruguay now. Have fun with that.
-
AutomatikThat game is going to be awesome.
-
like_thatPiss poor performance by Italy. No creativity and they somehow couldn't figure out a basic offside trap. Simply pathetic.
