Reds vs Giants...Game 2
-
Ironman92Cingrani keep this going? Hard to imagine. Giants couldn't play any worse and slumping Reds starting to turn it around.
I wouldn't bet on this one.
I'm 9-6 on the season....and my runs per game has to be the best of those with a few starts. -
RotinajReds suck.
-
Azubuike24Ryan Vogelsong, career 5.08 ERA against the Reds and it's 4.57 at GABP. I could see the Reds winning this, but no way Leake beats Bum on Thursday.
-
Azubuike24Also, we'll see how Price handles Mesoraco and the outfield. Mesoraco HAS to start on Thursday against Bumgarner, and I'd imagine we will see Ludwick and possibly Heisey as well. Tomorrow is when Price should get creative with the lineup if he wants to rest some guys because Thursday is Bumgarner and Friday is Hamels. Mesoraco has to play both. Tomorrow should be...
CF Hamilton
LF Schumaker
2B Phillips
RF Bruce
3B Frazier
1B Ludwick
C Pena
SS Cozart
P Cingrani -

Leake seems to do pretty well against top teams.Azubuike24;1622393 wrote:Ryan Vogelsong, career 5.08 ERA against the Reds and it's 4.57 at GABP. I could see the Reds winning this, but no way Leake beats Bum on Thursday.
I have no facts to back that up, and I may be completely wrong, but I feel like he does do well vs teams I think are going to rock him (good teams). -
Azubuike24I think Leake proves us wrong more often than not, but I can see Thursday being a game where he goes 7, allows like 3 runs, 5 hits, but the Reds can't muster anything. Against Bumgarner, especially if Price decides that's the game to run out a bum lineup (instead of tomorrow), the margin for error for Leake will be extremely slim. He doesn't do well in those situations, despite always keeping you in games.

Absolutely. I've been having beautiful dreams of Taveras hitting first only to wake up and realize it wasn't real. Super depressing.Terry_Tate;1622637 wrote:Really wish Dusty was still managing. -

I've been having the same dreams except with Stubbs and having the SS bat second no matter what. What a simpler time it was!Rotinaj;1622639 wrote:Absolutely. I've been having beautiful dreams of Taveras hitting first only to wake up and realize it wasn't real. Super depressing. -
wildcats20Frazier!!!
Of course it should be 2-0, but Billy for greedy(and a terrible jump). -
wildcats20Back to back doubles by BP and Bruce, 2-0.
Need something from Meso here to really open up the gates. -

wildcats20Lol I think I could tolerate him a little more if he didn't have his pants ABOVE his knees.
-
Ironman92I think the Reds coming back and winning this would really show me this team is ready to make a legitimate push.
-
Ironman92C'mon guys....I really want this one. I think this is a big statement!
-
wildcats20I agree. But I'm not confident at all in them coming back tonight.
-
Ironman92Shit damn fuck
This one is over....crappers coming up in the 9th -
mhs95_06So what have we got in the bottom of the 9th, hopefully down just one? Romo vs. Ludwick, Pena, Cozart, Schumaker?
-
mhs95_06
The 8th was the inning to get it done, especially with the lead-off error. Bruce must lead the team in % of plate appearances where he is completely unproductive!Ironman92;1622720 wrote:This one is over....crappers coming up in the 9th -
Ironman92Cozart ends it with a Heisey
Terrible fucking last 5 innings -
mhs95_06Reds bullpen has to be up to a C by now, but Reds take a very distasteful loss after having a 2 run lead with no one on and two out in the 6th. But Cingrani gives up all the runs SF needs to win on 6 pitches before they could get the 3rd out of the 6th. Also blame has to go to the Reds offense for not getting more than two runs out of their early opportunities.

Nope.....C- and going up, but not C range quite yet. I'll keep you posted.mhs95_06;1622728 wrote:Reds bullpen has to be up to a C by now, but Reds take a very distasteful loss after having a 2 run lead with no one on and two out in the 6th.
