Another 2014 virgin Terry Tate going for the gusto today. The team needs a fucking win and I hate the Braves. -
Ironman92Well fuck....I was going to get up and start the thread at 2:00am and continue my hot ways. I've had a great record recently and had a good record last year.

Azubuike24Mesoraco to the DL. He hopes to be ready to go on the 16th day as he was walking around last night.
Chapman pushed back one more live session. They thought he might go on a rehab Monday, but sounds like one more throwing session next week then rehab.
Latos threw again without pain and has been reportedly pain and inflammation free for ten days. Still probably 3-4 weeks away barring a setback. -
sherm03I missed these threads.

RotinajReds lose 11-10 on a mike leake PH grand slam in the 11th but he misses 3rd base and gets called out after an appeal. Thanks a lot asshole.

That would be Phillips as he is patting himself on the back.....or maybe Phillips passes the galactally slow Votto.Rotinaj;1609682 wrote:Reds lose 11-10 on a mike leake PH grand slam in the 11th but he misses 3rd base and gets called out after an appeal. Thanks a lot asshole. -
Azubuike24Speaking of Phillips, I'm sure glad he's batting 3rd and sporting a .629 OPS. But, he did hit that 3-run HR (3 of his 4 RBI's) earlier in the year and boy does he sure look smooth on a baseball field!
-
wildcats20Why the hell are you challenging this play?
He might be called out, but come on. -
Azubuike24It's a shame the ump blew the fucking call to begin with. He was out...
-
Azubuike24If he's right, you get your challenge back.
Unfortunately, even replay got this wrong. IMO, one of the more clear reviews of the year... -

But challenging THIS play in the first inning is just dumb.
And then he argues, which is an automatic ejection. -
sherm03
I think it's a good call to challenge the play. Especially with Phillips almost dropping that ball that could have scored the run. It was an out, and a shame they still didn't get it right.wildcats20;1609702 wrote:Yeah.

As for Price getting tossed, I'm cool with that too. Show the players you're behind them and willing to argue, even if it's not going to change anything. I just wish that once he got tossed he would have went all out with it. At that point, you're already gone...get mad. -
Azubuike24Might as well hit Phillips 7, Cozart 8 and the pitcher 9th. At least the other team can only get an automatic out every 3rd inning.
At least Frazier, Ludwick and Bruce will give you a decent at-bat...even if they get out. -
Ironman92I just caught up to live TV....a few things
If the replay guy in New York didn't have a different angle/view than Fox Ohio....he should be fired. Why even have it?
Goodness Cueto is so good (I use my no jinx card)
I clocked Billy home to 1st in 3.35, the fastest I've ever clocked anyone. ( Dee Gordon 3.38)
On the caught stealing by Hamilton....it's so damn fast. I reviewed it in 1/15th speed and the very very base of the glove looked to just graze him, most of the tag was Simmons wrist but the edge of glove likely got him.....and no way the ump actually saw it with his angle, but he appeared to get it right. -

I agree with this. You don't suppose the umps are adopting NBA practices that are getting burnt by replay rules? Like instead of calling a foul, giving the ball back to the team that was fouled in spite of the ball going OB off the fouled player, something that the review of only the OB call makes it unfair. Maybe the ump called him safe because he thought Cueto balked, but didn't think it was enough to allow the base runner to go to 2nd.sherm03;1609703 wrote:I think it's a good call to challenge the play. Not an easy matchup for the prima doñaAzubuike24;1609704 wrote:Might as well hit Phillips 7, Cozart 8 and the pitcher 9th. At least the other team can only get an automatic out every 3rd inning.

mhs95_06Cozart K takes away the option to use the contact play!

Ironman92
A little much I believe. MLB umps call them as they see them I believe. Balks are rare (unless Bob Davidson is around).....I believe he just missed it, but would bet my house that with our replay show he would immediately change his call himself.mhs95_06;1609708 wrote:I agree with this. Ironman92Homer tossed as well.
-
Ironman92Not Bruce's best angle ever and even though it's a very tough play....he's 0-3 on that play this year. He could've given a little jump to give him a better chance at the ball.
-
Azubuike24God, Jason Heyward sucks bad too. He's even worse than Hamilton and Phillips right now, and that's tough.
-
mhs95_06Cueto lulls Hayward with two inside balls, then Ks him on the next 3 in a critical situation!
